FA Cup 2017-18

willian incident was a penalty all day long. fair enough if the ref didn't see contact/thought he'd dived but surely that's where we have to refer it, see that it's a blatant foul and then give a penalty? just like iborra being held back last night, what's the point in VAR if we are either not going to refer obviously contentious decisions or we are going to refer them but just agree with the wrong decision for the sake of it?

cba with that

Chelsea want fining for that tonight.

Never seen a more disgusting display of sport. No regard for the spirit of the game whatsoever.

Conte is a joke.

Honestly I’ve never been impressed with Conte or this Chelsea side.

People talk of a “weak” League when we won it but it was no different last season.

And for a side that won the league, they lost at Old Trafford, Emirates, White Hart Lane....

But the media continue to love Conte because he runs up and down the touchline all game.

It's driven by a desire to see a fair match. Fvck all this "I've seen them given" / "he had every right to go down" stuff. If you decide to go down when you could stay on your feet, you're cheating.

The most annoying thing I hear from commentators these days. It's not a non-contact sport, if the contact isn't excessive or unfairly stops the player then it's not a foul.

If Willian keeps running he probably wins a pen, instead, he decides to dive and then touches the Norwich player as he's half way on through his dive.

so it seems even the guy who fouled willian was shocked he didn't give away a penalty for a blatant foul, even after it was apparently reviewed. nice.

He was probably expecting to foul him to be fair, Willian decides to do a massive dive before he's even near him though. Mental

Got to say i didnt see any evidence of going to ground early. He caught the defenders leg, telltale sign of guilt from the defender flapping his arms in an attempt to say no foul and he went over.

It was every bit as blatant as the iborra incident but whereas VAR might think its a penalty, he cant conclusively say the referee made an error. Thats the difference.

Its no good shearer saying "thats a penalty" about the VAR.....i agree it was a definite penalty but he cant say with 100% certainty the referee was wrong if from the referees point of view he exaggerated the contact etc.

But its worse now the norwich defender has admitted it was a definite penalty against him.

Fair play though for not bowing to pressure for the two red cards though both of those were correct

If there is a God, Yeovill will knock United down a peg or two.

United fans at work have been even more unbearable than usual since they signed Sanchez.

Need as many top clubs out as possible
