Decided to book a table at The Rose Indian restaurant, which I think is the best overall dining experience locally.

Each time I hear about The Midland Railway, there's often people arguing and police etc involved at peak times. The Queen Victoria is ok with what's on offer but it's 

too oldy-worldy personally.

Never been to Gate Hangs Well, but The Britannia isn't too bad but seems too out of the way to go there often tbh.

I heard something pretty serious kicked off at The Midland the other Friday, so you did right to steer away from there!
