I wish I was a competent songwriter. I can play guitar reasonably well but I've literally never written a song. A thousand shite bands may have convinced themselves otherwise, but I don't think it's in everyone and it's definitely not in me.

 

I think I'd find it tremendously rewarding, both from a perspective of entertaining other people, but also entertaining myself

 

The young prince does that Bellend ...   tried hard to make it big but just couldn't quite get there ...    been on tv many a time ...   writes songs for others now and makes a good living out of it.

A colleague of mine does it as a hobby but is good enough to have got into The Magic Circle and he performs at social events as a sideline for some extra cash.

I fvcking hate magicians...I've had the misfortune of meeting a few socially through wifes entertainment-type friends/parties and they are generally complete tools...wanting to do magic at every fvcking opportunity like I'm an interested fvcking 10 year old...twats. 

 

As for my special talent I would like to be able to read music and play guitar - I bought one this year and really enjoyed some youtube beginners lessons and strumming away in my man cave (oo-er). Wife plays piano and I'm a bit envious when she just sits down and tinkles away (oo-er, obviously).
