Beans, stilton cheese and siracha hot sauce.

Thank me later.

Swap the Stilton for something edible like Red Leicester and that could be decent.

Red Leicester is the most overrated cheese ever.

If it’s the traditional recipe it’s nice but the modern supermarket with a rubber like texture, is not great.

Long Clawson do a mature Rutland red, it’s very good. You can but it in Melton Mowbray.

I will accept that 'proper' Red Leicester is superior to the supermarket vulcanised rubber that masquerades as cheese; however, so is cat shit.

This isn't the unpopular opinions thread pal.

I find it odd that a man in your line of work has no taste buds.

Maybe if they called it blue Leicester ?? ..    would that help ...

Ah, I see the problem now - it's one of those misguided loyalty-to-anything-connected-with-Leicester things.

How parochial.

Honestly the proper stuff is a good cheese, it’s not the greatest cheese but it’s definitely shows why it was ever held in any regard.

We could do with a cheese thread really, although the heathens on this forum will probably vote for poverty food again.

Hmm, good cheese I can probably accept, but why settle for good cheese when there are so many great cheeses?

I only have it at Christmas as it’s tradition but if I don’t find the good stuff, the in laws will present us with that rubber like excuse for a cheese.
