Vardy to Man Utd

Recommended Posts

as I said in summer, no chance vardy goes anywhere. he knows he'll play every game here and play well enough and score enough to go to the world cup in 6 months time. he goes to a "top" team, he's not first choice, they don't play to a style that suits him and he misses out on game time, goals, still won't win anything cos he's not going to join man city and then gets snubbed by southgate for not playing/being in form. sounds like a great plan.

not to mention we wouldn't sell him for less than 50/60/70 mill, which is a ridiculous price for a 30+ forward.

any vardy rumours are such a nonsense.

Any traction in these Chelsea rumours, or just Twitter nonsense?

I've said for a while that I can't see anyone paying what we would want for a striker his age and reliant on pace, and I still see that being the case. Chelsea do seem desperate though, and there's a couple of whispers going around that Vardy wants the move.

It would be a disaster if he went, but I back the owners to play hardball again.

Like when he was meant to be joining Arsenal, he'd go with my best wishes. We can all be thankful for his service and if he wants another chance at the champions league who can stop him.

Although I believe our ambition matches his, as that's where we want to be. Maybe he can't wait around as long? He is 32 now.

I just hope he would stay amicable in the press if he did want a move.

Obviously in an ideal world we somehow qualify for a European competition this season, then we'd have a great chance of keeping Vardy and Riyad.

Got to love how Mrs Vardy repeatedly mugs off that Indykaila.

Anyone seen the Everton fans on Twitter? They wouldn't even see this as a coup, they think it'd be a routine signing if they wanted him. Deluded.

Don't like how Wise suggests Chelsea signing Vardy and Rebekah Vardy is socialising with Dennis Wise after their time in the jungle....

do you actually think vardy is going to potentially sacrifice his place in the world cup squad by playing second fiddle (look at drinkwater) in a team that doesn't fit his style, probably for not much more money based on what he's apparently on here, just because his bird did I'm a celebrity with someone who played for Chelsea 20 year ago?

Nope. That's not what I said.

He has no release clause and we absolutely would not sell for less than £30m and we absolutely would not sell without a replacement and top strikers are not easy to come by, especially in Jan. He isn't going anywhere. Lots of unrest at United (Jose constantly slating his players and poor treatment of the likes of Shaw and Mkhitaryan) and at Chelsea (conte likely to leave in the summer). And I'm not even entertaining Everton, they really are deluded. He's happy here, is the star player alongside Mahrez and seems settled in the area. I'd be amazed if he was to be sold. And the owners absolutely would not allow him to leave.

Considering his age, where we are in the league, and all he's done for us, I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a CL club.

If I had my way, it wouldn't be Chelsea because of Kanté and Drinkwater and it would definitely be in the summer, not in Jan.

I'd also want a big signing to compensate.

Everton are ridiculous. The only way he'll end up there is when he's 36 and his agent fancies one last payday out of him.

Oh dear. Indykaila... Attention-seeking */)*&ç%!

I love how they're trying to enhance their reputation by calling it an "award-winning Twitter page". :crylaugh:

All they do is create generic headline material by writing general statements that could be attributed to ANY footballer.

Usual social media crap! It’s all because the Mahrez big move isn’t happening so the press and these gobshites on Twitter think oooo lets give them something to talk about.

If there was any truth in it, I am pretty sure JV would have his cards very close to his chest and his Mrs wouldn’t be saying a word on social media. He isn’t deluded like a lot of footballers, Leicester and everybody in it - owners, managers, coaches, team mates, fans have all been a part of his story and the journey to become the player he is.....personally don’t see how he would turn his back on the club who has given him everything, it isn’t as if we’re fighting relegation.

Move on....just another way for idiots like that IndyKalia to get attention
