So what if he isn't of the standard we need now or have needed for the last couple of season, the man has been a great servant of the club and stuck with us through some pretty torrid times. I echo what @Ric Flair says, remember him for his goals against the likes of WHU when we would do anything to get a win to kick start the great escape. In those last few games he gave his all when called upon and in my opinion he still does even if it isn't what we need now. I would hate to see him play for anyone else but at the same time I don't want him to be here, not playing and still get stick from our fans. He deserves to be playing and while many think he is of Championship quality at best, if he does go to a struggling Prem side they will be getting a fantastic professional who will give his all for the cause and when you are down in that situation that is exactly what you need, as we very well know. Sadly, our triumphs of the past couple of seasons seem to have clouded the memories of some fans and what some of our less glamorous players have done for us in the past.
