Not sure what’s going on with the sound in this video... but nice to hear Dave Bassett sounds the same in any language! 

 

Thing I noticed in those clips - he got himself into some great positions, just a shamed he showed no composure whatsoever. He must have been a reasonably good lad in the dressing room too given how every player went to mob him when he did finally scuff a shot into the net on the second attempt.

 

The frustrating thing about him though... he wasn’t shite, just shite for us.
