Starting to warm to Lingard more than had done before.

But not convinced that Rashford is the real deal the media etc claim so far.

I don’t think Lingard is much though really, do you?

Sure, he works hard and gives his all but can you see him having the ability to kick us on to say, the semis of a World Cup?

I think he’s not a bad player, of course but maybe the general level of the team is making him look better than he really is?

I personally think Rashford could have more of an impact in a game we really need to win.

I think he's quite decent and will improve more.

No British referees to officiate at the World Cup.

very tough on him and I feel for him. Stepped up from poor time at Arsenal and had actually been an under-rated player in that Liverpool squad, where the front 3 of Salah, Mane & Firmino get most of the plaudits.

I think he'd have been a good player this summer as well so it's a big loss for England.

Oxlade-Chamberlain out for the World Cup with a knee injury:

Tough for the lad, wish him a speedy recovery.

Now, in the meantime, how about Marc Albrighton getting an invitation to the England training camp?

Dont worry, Jack Wilshire will save the day....

Former England women's goalkeeper wants Joe Hart in Russia 2018:

That's the same West Ham goalkeeper who is part of a back four which has conceded the second-most goals in the entire Premier League so far?

Only Stoke are worse than the Hammers.

What a terrible article.

Joe Hart will get in and I wouldn't even be totally surprised if he starts either.

Shame Oxlade-Chamberlain can't go. He's had a really good season and offers us something different.

I'd genuinely take Shelvey over Wilshere.

I'm sure I heard a stat that he has made more mistakes than the other 19 goalkeepers combined.

If we're taking a keeper simply based on having WC experience I don't see why he can't just go as a paying fan. He seems fanatical enough on the pitch to be part of the three lions support!

I'm so happy Ox is injured - worst player in our last 2 games glad that means he won't be in the finals.

Personally think Ox and Lingard have been great in the midfield 3.

My ideal line up would have been;

Pickford

Walker Dier Maguire Rose

Henderson

Ox Lingard

Sterling -----Kane -----Rashford

I think that side would get into the quarters.

With our fixtures we should be getting to the quarters with Carlton Palmer in midfield.

Well it involves beating Belgium to win the group because if we don't then we play Germany.

We don't, we play winner or runner up in group H.

Oh you're right. I was it's C that plays D, not G.

Need my eyes testing :)

Edit: lol and Germany are in group F. Ignore me, its been a long week!

This either reads ‘pay attention to me i’m controversial’ or ‘Joe Hart’s agent has handed me a brown envelope’.

The only experience Hart has in international tournaments is of being a loser. Bad experiences are detrimental to the mentality of the dressing room.

Now, if he was any good, we could perhaps overlook that, but he isn’t.

I get bored of posting this ! Shelvey has been outstanding each time I’ve watched him on tv ( 6-8 times ). He should go & we should sign him up too

It wasn't even 24 hours ago you were labelling someone on here an idiot for making you look silly for comparing a goalkeeper and a winger. And as for stalking you lol bloody hell
