Larry_LCFC Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 Sounds like most people on the phone in want Puel gone. So let's see the consensus. In or Out?
walkerleeds Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 All the best and most consistently successful sides chop and change their manager every 15-20 games. So on that basis PUEL OUT
jonthefox Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 Out sorry. We can’t risk what is probably going to be our biggest transfer budget in years to this man.
Popular Post RowlattsFox Posted 7 April 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 7 April 2018 Can’t believe it’s even a discussion and a clear example of how shit modern football has become. We will get no one good if we keep sacking managers. 46
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 April 2018 Author Share Posted 7 April 2018 Ive gone with out. We have lost our spirit, our spark and our ambition. We are so boring and sideways. 1 shot at home is unforgivable. He just doesn't learn from his mistakes at all. 3
Monsell1976 Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 In for now, give him a summer and a season, if we are as boring and lacklustre at the end of next season, he’s not the man to take us forward, my only concern is it could be a long boring season, I’m already struggling to look forward to games. Tielemans63 Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 Makes no sense to boot him out this early when we don't really know how good or bad he is. I'm surprised fans are so hungry for more upheaval.
lgfualol Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 (edited) I imagine the results right now, and the results if you posted this tomorrow or Monday would be quite different. Edited 7 April 2018 by lgfualol
ithuriel Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 I'm losing both confidence and patience, Newcastle looked hungrier and better organised.

Larry_LCFC Posted 7 April 2018 Author Share Posted 7 April 2018 Unfortunately his track record i.e. Southampton goes against him. This is history repeating itself.
Popular Post ARTY_FOX Posted 7 April 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 7 April 2018 Out. Who wants to watch this style of football? What player wants to play this style of football? We're going nowhere with him at the helm.
Ted Maul Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 Can't say I'm overly enamoured, but he deserves the summer. I'm incredibly frustrated by our home form, but he's got us sorted away. I just hope he realises that we need to be more aggressive at home, because he doesn't seem to be learning his lessons.

Popular Post Tuna Posted 7 April 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 7 April 2018 Out. I think we are seeing the real Puel now since January, and it's awful. I'm bored watching us and I doubt our owners will be too impressed either. Our home form both in performances and results is embarrassing, unacceptable. I did wonder why on earth Southampton dismissed him and we can see why now. If we keep him, we'll lose Vardy in the summer and get relegated; we are another Southampton/West Brom in waiting. He has to be sacked at the end of the season. .
Popular Post Beechey Posted 7 April 2018 Popular Post Share Posted 7 April 2018 Why make the poll directly after a loss? You'd get better results to leave it a day or two before asking. In, let him bring his players in and see how we do next season. What makes anyone think another manager would drastically improve a team that's been somewhat under performing (or at least hit an miss) for almost two seasons?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 He deserves a summer, **** me you'd think fans like ours would appreciate what longevity under one man can accomplish. I can't be arsed just being watford chopping and changing every year without any clear direction. Chopping and changing does work, but does eventually lose its effectiveness.

Beechey Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 People complain about wasting money then after a run of poor form demand the manager to be sacked, time after time. Utter delusion.

FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 We had a whole midfield out with players that aren't puels and of the old regime. I can't believe how stupid some of these fans are? You can't make a full judgement until he has had time to build his own side

Why should a manager keep his job when he shows intention of entertaining and therefore not showing the fans or the sport the respect they deserve? It’s a waste of everyone’s time.
martyn Posted 7 April 2018 Share Posted 7 April 2018 (edited) Someone nailed it for me in another thread. Puel wants to play a style many of our players aren't suited for. I think ultimately he wants to be more progressive than we are, probably involving full backs who can bomb on on both sides. As such he needs to either be given full backing to spend big in the summer to start getting his players, or we cut our losses and join the merry go round. I'd be inclined to keep. Simply because we are at a natural point in our history to transition from our counter attacking philosophy anyway. Kante is gone, Mahrez will go, and Vardy will not be getting quicker. As fans we have been spoiled by successive seasons of excitement and drama. I understand why some may be disillusioned with Puel on that basis, but we need to evolve as a club, and he might be the best guy if only to avoid more upheaval and uncertainty, and to give him a chance in the transfer window to get the players to match his philosophy.
