24hr in Leicester

Thanks to all for your helpful suggestions. 

 

The city of Leicester has seen massive positive change since my last visit, and I hardly recognize the place. It probably helps that we were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather. Almost everyone we encountered was helpful and kind, and I really didn’t see any of the negative side some mentioned. And the stadium is a very good place to watch a match. Can’t imagine the atmosphere when they score in a big game. 

 

As as for the football, well, not as good. But that’s what I should have probably expected with almost nothing on the line v Soton late in the season. I thought Mahrez was poor, Diabate should play more, and Albrighton/Dragovic played well and should probably start over Simpson/Morgan.

 

All told a great start to our football trip. Thanks again.

Most of the people slagging it off never go and obviously don't even give it a chance. 

 

 

It desperately needs an arena though to attract better gigs and acts.
