As a team we just don't play to his strengths, we play to Vardy's strengths and he knows that. there will be plaenty of teams after him and he knows that as well. A lot of fans seem to be forgetting how good he was at times last season, our best player in Pre Season, was our best player throughout our League Cup run and in his last league game against Huddersfield, he came out like a man possessed for the second half and absolutely destroyed them, a performance that deserved to see him carry on as a Leicester City player. Scoring the goal that defeated Porto is the best memory of Slimani. . But we were massively ripped off when we signed him and successive managers didn't really know what to do with him. I think he'll score goals in the Premiership in the right team but it just hasn't worked out here. In the end he stayed and the replacements weren't needed. If he wants to play football elsewhere I don't begrudge him his move. I'd rather keep Claude than Slimani if it's a toss up between the two. But he just doesn't fit our team, even less so if we want people comfortable on the ball.
