Basic changes :

 

Easier to score while under pressure from behind. 

Harder to score while under pressure from in front. 

Harder to score first time finesse shots if the ball isn't coming from directly in front of your player. 

Harder to knock someone off the ball from the side. 

Less likely to put it wide whilst aiming "near the post" if not under pressure or off balance. *

Low driven shots finally fixed so you don't accidentally chip it all the time instead. 

 

 

 

*going to piss myself if that means "won't go wide will just hit the post even more"

I'm in division 4 and quite often come up against icon filled teams. It seems like you either come up against someone that will destroy you or someone that you will destroy. Very rarely have a close game on rivals.

Ngl I've just switched it off, it's completely unplayable for me. 

 

I've gotten really lucky over the years, I always play wired, I've had some good connections, I've had very few problems with the input lag people often talk about. 

 

But that right now is insane. 

 

Worse than cod ww2 at launch.

I had a quick rival match about an hour ago and it was fine for me.

I’m risking opening myself up for ridicule here... but is my PS4 L stick f***ed?

 

When I take penalties, sometimes I can barely move the arrow in a certain direction, or can’t move it between the middle of the goal and the left post (all or nothing). It feels like I’m having to overcome something pushing back in the opposite direction.

 

When I take corners, sometimes I either can’t aim towards the back post, or whenever I try to hit it any farther than the middle of the area, my cursor pushes back.

 

Sometimes, players will just stop running when I’m controlling them and defending (usually when running back towards the left of my screen...also they’ll have had full stamina). Also, I’ve tried so hard to remember I have to keep the arrow going through the pass to keep it going where I want it to, yet sometimes, my passes go either far askew or even in the complete opposite direction.

 

I’d wonder if this has anything to do with players lacking attributes (I.e. it being very hard to control a penalty with a player with low PEN, a hard time placing corners for guys that suck at crossing, or more wayward passing for players with crap vision, short passing and control). But this even happens when I’m using guys like Gylfi and Santi Cazorla (ok not exactly Zidanes, but still very good, esp passing).

 

Is this just what the game is like and I suck at it, or is my controller really no good?

Yeah I’m div 3 pushing div 2 and it’s horrendous. Plus the div 4 rewards are genuinely better than the div 3 ones - div 2 ones are good though so hoping to go up soon... on 2110 skill points atm.

I can’t play online on fifa any more. People just take the p*** to much ?. I just do the squad battles as my team is aweful and don’t get to play often then hope for the best when the squad builders come on. Ribery is the best player I have had but the rest of my team is poor.
