Rubbish story, But I wouldn't want him anywhere near our Club. Even Lennon won lots of trophies at Celtic and look how he turned out down here.

good comparison.

Lennon won easily in crap jock football land against rubbish zero opposition.

comes to England faces better teams weekly at Bolton, 4 wins in 37, they get relegated. (some city fans wanted him here cos he did well at celtic).

goes back to jockland does better again.

Bollocks and as many have said, surely they would have done it already... if this does happen then it’s shameful, and quite embarrassing...

Shameful?

Whether we think Rogers is better than Puel, Guardiola is better than Rogers is the key issue. Surely we want the best manager we can possibly get for our team.

Not sure why sacking one manager and employing another  one thought to be better, is ‘shameful’,given the exiting one gets handsomely financially compensated.

Please explain.

Google “Being Liverpool” “documentary”.

The envelope scene, like a lot of the rest of it, was utterly cringeworthy and showed a lack of emotional intelligence and empathy that makes you wonder how his mind works.

The fact that the “Deluded Brendan” account on Twitter got so much traction tells you a lot.

And then there’s his classic midlife cliche from a few years ago.  He lost some weight, got his gnashers fixed up and left his missus and kids to shack up with a younger blonde married employee of Liverpool who also had a kid, whose deserted husband later killed himself.

So yeah, in the likeability stakes, he ain’t uncle Claudio Ranieri.

Absolutely right - we try to employ the best person we can .... whether that’s on the pitch or off it (DOF excepted ?)

you dont sack the incumbent manager until you know you can get the better one in.

And this doesn’t mean I would approve of Rogers being appointed ..... that’s a different debate

This says it all and is exactly the reason I wouldn't want him near our Club regardless of his ability to Manage.

We have a Top Coach in Puel who is a gentleman with wider experience than Rogers, all we need to do is back him and see what happens.

I didn’t even mention him defending Luis Suarez cheating week in week out.

Well we don't have a top coach, that's just silly. The other stuff is fair enough but there is no way you can argue that Puel is a top coach based on what we've seen so far.

Yes he is a Top Coach his record with young players prove that. Just give him time you haven't seen anything yet. He's had to thread carefully trying not to upset certain players. If given the time he will definitely take us forward.

Have we ever signed an international class full back then sacked the manager shortly after?

Rings a bell for some reason.
