TBH last time I drove to Old Trafford was in '16 but that year I did park in Salford Quays and just sit in the pub prior to the game right next to the car park.

 

Driving up today so will probably be initially aiming for the same place.

Did you just park in the Lowry car park? I normally park at a mates who lives next to there but I can’t tonight.

Don't think so. It was more "The Quays" I think. There was a few eating outlets like Frankie and Bennys and then a pub.

For any drivers leaving now - avoid A50 - worth going M1 via leeds. If you do go A50 then when queuing before Sudbury take exit for A511 and bypass the 40 min queue.
