Perhaps some people feel quite strongly about him co-opting depression as the result of him having to earn fame and fortune. Maybe, for those who have had first hand experience of depression, that is more than enough to be glad he's not got his own way. Perhaps go to the depression thread and tell them they've got it wrong, that depression is actually not being allowed to move clubs at the drop of a hat.

Great way to sign off a post though! 'adjective noun is noun.' Hilarious work, that, mate. You've really got a way with copying rubbish from the Internet.  Really original and entertaining. I've never seen that format of sentence before.

Can't blame Riyad for wanting to leave, he won us the champ and the prem!! He wanted to leave to win trophies, and yes probably got a pay rise too. Mahrez had an enormous part to play in our clubs greatest ever achievements, and entertained us along the way. We have moved on and will remain a premiership club, we made 59 million on him and memories which will last our lifetime.

Sorry to hear your depression! It is a horrible experience, hope all is well now.

I think he'll do well there but won't be as explosive as he was for us at his best. His game time will be reduced and others will take plenty of the limelight too.

He's changed from the star of a team to one of many good players. And he'll need to do more to impress given the competition.

Stats fans loved to quote his goals and assists.

Is it true that this year he has less combined goals and assists than

Jamie has goals

Maddy has goals

Slab head has goals

Demarai has goals

albrighton has assists

Ricardo has assists

Kasper has clean sheets

Schlupp has goals?

Just asking.

Probably because he's not good enough to even be second string or/and that he doesn't put enough effort in on the pitch.

One could also turn your argumentation around saying that Leicester lifted him into the Prem. He was part of a winning side - he didn´t win us the Champ nor the Prem. And entertained us yes  -  on occasion. On others he infuriated an annoyed  and he completely lost interest and acted childlishly despite collecting somewhere around 100 grand a week....

Could be perceived that way! It was certainly beneficial to both leicester and to Riyad. Without him we would not have won the premiership and without us he would not be where he is today.

Yes he acted immature when trying to move, and he is on a lot of money but which footballers are not.. The only problem with the Riyad situation is we didn't play Gray / Diabate from christmas for the rest of the season. Clearly Riyad wanted out and was leaving in the summer, we should have played the youngsters and gave them a chance.

True - however I don´t think Puel had a choice. We were playing awfully and he had to save his job - and City from not going into a relegation scrap. So actually it ended up being a lose/lose situation.

Mahrez had a huge impact in the second half of last season. No coach in their right mind would play youngsters and risk losing their job due to bad performances - or worse relégation.

Some of the shite in here is pretty embarrassing and would expect this from pre pubescent lads.

Guy helped us win the Premier League FFS and some of the greatest goals scored and combination goals with Vardy that Barcelona fans would be dreaming of.

Keep hold of the memories NOT the hate.
