So many "puel out" calls from fans, so who replaces him?

Recommended Posts

Why would any half decent premier league manager have any interest in quitting their job to join a club who fires managers on a regular basis. Knowing that you have less than a year to be top six is not a great incentive to make a career change.   if we were to fire a manager this early in the season for being top ten we would be the laughing stock of the prem.

If points total falls below games played, then he should go.  Need to give him time as this continual change every year is getting us nowhere and the future does look bright,  There is a lot for any coach to work with here, even more so after the deadwood is cleared out next summer.

Imagine the meltdown on here when he tells us to lower expectations and admire what a superb job he is doing when we have one shot on target at home to Cardiff though.

Another meaningless post based on conjecture, unless of course you are Marty McFly.

"Lesstah City fans need realise that they're not going to be challenging for Europe again, the Premier League is a difficult league to stay in and it's my job to make sure this football club does that and I'm doing a good job of it."

Cuts back to the SSN studio,

"So Thommo, what do you make of Leicester City fans' criticism of Big Sam and his style of play?"

"Well Jeff they're a club tha just 5 years ago weh playing in the championship, what do they expect? They're a yoyo club and Allardyce is gonna keep them up year after year?"

"But can't the fans expect more after the £75m he's spent on players like Ahmed Hegazi and Britt Assombalonga?"

If we get Allardyce in.... Puel out fans shoulder some responsibility for that....

Hope you'll be happy :(

Yeah like any of our fans have ever had anything to do with sackings or hirings from our owners. If Puel gets the sack and big Sam is hired it's because THEY said so. So in what way possible could we share some responsibility?

Granted its a nebulous claim, fair point

Results are realistically more or less where they should be, maybe fans voicing their opinions about Puel at games with the dont know what you're doing chants could sway them?

It might be ridiculous to suggest that such a thing could have any bearing on their decision whatsoever. But based on results so far talk of sacking him now seem a bit drastic. 3 points out the next two games and we have still only had a couple of "bad" results out of this season so far

Anyways, getting Sam in is not the sort of thing we should do in our current position

Now the Brendan Rodgers hat has been thrown into the ring yet again now also he is being linked with Newcastle if Ashley can’t keep faith with Rafa, will this cause the Leicester owners to pull the trigger on all the Puel speculation?

They certainly won’t want their so called prime replacement to go to Newcastle and it’s being reported we will have to pay his current employers up to £9M to get hold of him, so if CP fails to bring home anything from Arsenal will this be the end of his tenure and will they go for Brendan Rodgers Who Knows ??

The way of the world these days. Puel is the 14th longest serving manager in the Premiership and three of those above him manage the three promoted teams from last season.

....just think about it, take a Premiership job, you dont have to be good at it, last for half a season and get a big fat pay off. You ask Mr. Pardew and his other journey man friends. They must have earned more in pay offs than when they were at anytime successful with the clubs they were managing.

People continually ask who would take a job with us......more like who wouldn't!!!!!

That’s no good to us. We don’t need bums, we need quality

Puel is not a charismatic leader.... not sure sam is the answer .... but long term we need a leader to follow

Ian Holloway has bags of charisma. Yes charisma is absolutely the key attribute we should be looking for.
