Grebfromgrebland Posted 8 October 2018 Share Posted 8 October 2018 I think we'll concede in the first 8 minutes. Then we'll have a good period of play before they score again just before halftime.
ARM1968 Posted 8 October 2018 Share Posted 8 October 2018 0-2 all day long. Solid as a rock at the back. Creative genius in midfield. Utter lethality up front. We is winnin dis bluds.

surrifox Posted 9 October 2018 Share Posted 9 October 2018 as they sang at Fulham "we've got our Arsenal back" What Arsenal is that then? Not the one that wins 9 on the trot and scores goals for fun whilst playing entertaining football- most of them weren't born the last time that happened

Because that's how I read that.

Footballwipe Posted 9 October 2018 Share Posted 9 October 2018 Can't be bothered with the fact this is away on a Monday so missing this, which means we're going to tear them up and win 3-0.
les-tah Posted 9 October 2018 Share Posted 9 October 2018 (edited) start bright.. but concead very early by a stupid penno by amartey or another clown then look good but then go 2-0 then lose 3-1. Edited 9 October 2018 by les-tah

I know Simpson isn't really good enough, I would like to see Soyuncu but apparently he isn't good enough either and would be just as unlikely to make his debut in this game. Okazaki won't be very fit but you get the jist of it- pack the midfield and have a hard worker in there that can frustrate them. If they play like they did against Fulham then they will walk through us.
RonnieTodger Posted 9 October 2018 Share Posted 9 October 2018 The usual. Find ourselves 2-0 down early doors and then get one back when it's too late.

We can't defend and neither can Arsenal, hence why Merson said that they are going to get hammered by a team soon. Obviously we're not going to be that team, but i don't Arsenal are as great as some people think. 2-2 draw.

The people who sit next to me at home games have been hammering Simpson for the past year or so, on Saturday I heard "we need Simpson back". RODNEY FERNIO Posted 9 October 2018 Share Posted 9 October 2018 4/1 for a draw and 6/1 for a City win. The bookies aren't daft and I think I'd rather go for an evening's Morris Dancing than go to this. Mind you Huddersfield are 16/1 to beat Liverpool on the same weekend and they are at home ..... as I said the bookies aren't daft.
WigstonWanderer Posted 9 October 2018 Share Posted 9 October 2018 Amazed at the disrespect Simpson gets after being probably our most consistent defender for so long. Sure, his iimitations were exposed when Puel tried to get him to attack more, and that seems to have affected his mojo, but seeing the other attempts at the right back role since he fell out of favour highlights how difficult it is to fulfil Puel’s requirements in that position. Personally I still think he has all the attributes for a right sided CB, though Amartey should also be comfortable in that role. Perhaps Puel’s idea of a right back simply cannot be satisfied in our price range.
