often criticised for lack of goals yet he got a couple pre-season and was looking good. I know Gray has more pace but surely the most important thing we need from our wide players is end product and Albrighton is still one of the best crossers of the ball around, whereas Gray has a habit of running into blind alleys. Barnes looks great taking people on but seems to lose his composure when in a shooting position. Personally i would be tempted to put Perez back on the right for his linking up and ability to get Ricardo into the game and Albrighton on the left. Chilwell/Barnes combo just doesn't seem to be coming off for me. if we need pace later on against tired legs then bring Gray and/or Barnes in from the bench

Just now, FireFox said:

I thought he played well. Deserves to get a chance off the bench in a league game.

Won a throw then followed by winning the corner for the 2nd goal.

He was abysmal 1st half, everything went wrong for him. He improved 2nd half and deserves a few games I reckon, can always bring Barnes on with 25-30 to go over the xmas period.

Was poor tonight, chance where he hit the bar aside. Looked off the pace a bit and I have some sympathy as he's had his longest stint out of the team since he's been here, but next time he gets his chance he needs to perform better than that if he wants a sniff of a first team spot again.
