Maguire to Man Utd / Man City

Or maybe he's been told he's not leaving, as its too late in the window and he needs time out to overcome his disappointment. I know, I'm clutching at straws.

Who knows? All we do know is Utd haven't met the asking price yet.

Tbh, it's not really surprising if he's not mentally in the right place to play, with all the uncertainty surrounding the deal.

Let’s not start doing Harry down if he is about to leave. It's business innit, principles will never trump economics, this is not a fairy tale, we go again. :scarf:

We’ve got the money we wanted but far too late in the window - this is not a good outcome ..... I would rather have got 10m less three weeks ago

people underestimate HM contribution to City.

Many times a match he gains us ground with either dribbles, or long passes.

We can say goodbye to top 6, unless Soy, or Benko, step up

Spunking two thirds of what we receive on either Dunk, or tarko, will be an utter waste

If the intention was to sell, you have to question why wait all these weeks, what was the point.

What? We gave man u a price they had to pay. Its not our fault they've dithered about not offering the right amount. One thing we should have done is have a deadline which should now have passed.

Where has this absolutely bullshit 50 million figure actually come from. Every time i see these 2 mentioned the price has gone up 5 million. It's like ft hysteria.

To add, this doesn't mean that the transfer is definitely happening.

If he's been left out of tomorrows squad then he is as good as gone, or at least the club think it highly likely.

If we get the price we wanted then fair enough.

FoxesTalk will be like playing bingo for a while as a few have the inevitable meltdown. Here's my card:

  1. He was sh*t anyway (or something similar)
  2. Traitor
  3. Club has no ambition
  4. Man U have deliberately unsettled him
  5. We've left it to late for a replacement
  6. Club still has no ambition
  7. Owners dont know what they are doing
  8. Rudkin out
  9. We wont even finish in the top half now
  10. This is all down to sky

If we're using that analogy I would have called it them to their face. As I've said many times I don't particularly rate him. More than happy if he stays but if he goes to United I hope we rinse them for every possible penny.

Just to prove its not revisionism on my part:

I can accept being called foolish or deluded.

11. The new training ground has very narrow doors, Harry’s head will not fit, he had to go.

If they have finally matched an asking fee, we still are not obliged to accept.  Keeping Maguire out of circulation for the next friendly game is a way to deal with shocking timing from Manchester Utd.

As I said in the week, mull over the bid, keep Maguire out of circulation, and with 10 minutes of the window remaining, tell them it's a no.
