Leicester City will take on Newcastle United in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday 28 August (7:45pm BST kick-off), with tickets due to go on sale to supporters on the Away Priority Scheme from Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes will travel to St James’ Park between a Premier League encounter at Sheffield United on Saturday 24 August (3pm BST kick-off) and a home meeting with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday 31 August (3pm BST kick-off).

Leicester City have won the competition three times throughout their history, most recently lifting the trophy in 2000, while the team have reached the Quarter-Finals in each of the last two seasons.

City have been handed an initial allocation of 2,300 tickets for the match, including 11 wheelchair spaces, which go on sale to supporters on the Away Priority Scheme from Sunday.

Unless stated otherwise below, tickets will be available online from 8am BST, from 9am BST by phone and from 10am BST in-store.

Those unable to attend the second round tie will be able to listen to it for free on LCFC Radio, with each matchday offering starting three hours before kick-off.

Fox Travel is priced at £18 per person. Coaches depart at 12:30pm BST.

Please note, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18.

Those successful will be notified ahead of the Sales Window of which will be:

Opens at 8am BST (Online), 9am BST (by Phone) and 10am (in-store) on Monday 19 August
Closes at 6pm BST on Tuesday 20 August

PLEASE NOTE: This fixture is an ALL-TICKET fixture, therefore no tickets will be available to purchase from Newcastle United. All tickets must be purchased from Leicester City.

Tickets will be on sale until 9am BST on Wednesday 28 August. Please also note that all fixtures are subject to change. 

Important information
 

Supporters purchasing tickets for this fixture in the Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium MUST bring their Season Ticket card with them and any Season Ticket cards of the supporters they are looking to purchase tickets for. They will also need to confirm the full name, date of birth and full address of all supporters they are buying tickets for.

Supporters purchasing tickets over the phone MUST be able to provide the full name, full address details, date of birth and any contact details, i.e. phone number or email address, of those whom they are looking to purchase tickets for.

Please note that supporters who fail to bring the relevant Season Ticket cards and fail to confirm all personal details for everyone who they wish to purchase for will not be sold tickets under any circumstances.

Supporters are also reminded that all tickets are non-transferable and must remain in the possession of the Season Ticket Holder.

Moreover, the Club wishes to remind supporters that the reselling of tickets for Leicester City matches is strictly forbidden.

Have sky picked their games yet? As I see Derby and Forest are on Tuesday. 

 

So if we are the Wednesday game it will drop the tickets even more.

I was hoping for the Tuesday so I could book Tuesday and Wednesday off work seeing as that follows bank holiday Monday.

What’s going on in the last paragraph of the ticket announcement? They don’t usually include all those requirements in the away ticket blurb do they?

A strange match to get picky about who buys tickets.  It's not like it's Barcelona away in the Champions League final.

I can see the tickets sold being totally different to fans that actually go. At just £10 I can see a lot of people purchasing a ticket just for the priority point.

Did everyone get 10 additional points for becoming a member

1 point per away game. Don’t matter if you go or not after you buy a ticket.

We do parking near the ground £5 and quick to get away  can’t think of the road there is a pub 2 mins walk very cheap beer 15 mins to ground
