Music volume at the KP

Email Jim Donnelly, who's worked at the club for many years, about it.

He's the club's supporter liaison officer.

He usually deals/forwards any concerns from supporters regarding the clubs' pre-match/match-day activities pretty quickly.

Thank you

It seems so much louder pre-match than last season.  I can’t hear anyone speak.  Loud music pre match is great for the atmosphere but I think it’s too loud now.  Anyone agree?

Pardon?

Louder the better for me, makes people themselves louder and also that picture video at the start with the drums needs to be as loud as it can go, it’s great that is...well played whoever created that 👍🏼

On a serious point my daughter is deaf , it was SO loud the music she had to take her hearing aids off as the sound was making it painful , she couldn’t communicate with us till the music stopped !!!

Didn't particularly notice any difference, sit at the top end of the Kop and the speakers up there are pretty shit or I must be in a bad seat to hear things

If you have a constructive suggestion (or criticism), then Email the club.

If they get enough Emails on a particular subject, they might do something about it.

Personally, I think the music is far too loud.   So I will be politely Emailing the club.

I do think the Greatest Showman video is particularly loud, uncomfortably loud. I'll be honest and say I haven't noticed anything else myself on the other music. That piece in particular almost has the sound system straining at the seams, and thus it doesn't sound very good, either.

I was in M1 (usually kop)  and assumed it was louder there to drown out the away fans, but obviously from reading hear it was the whole ground.

There is little danger of getting tinnitus from crowd noise at our games now.

I don't think there's a single email.  Most will get passed on to the relevant area, but the following are some:

 Sales@lcfc.co.uk

 Lcfchelp@lcfc.co.uk

 Grass.roots@lcfc.co.uk

My fault im afraid. Sat in the West Stand once last season. Sent a letter to Jim saying i cant stand this bunch of old farts moaning about the Thurnby Lodge bus route and Des the weather man.

So he agreed to turn up the music next season.

Sorry everyone.

My father wears one and he also took his off as he said the pitch and volume meant it was screaming in his ear

Sign of getting old

when I’m in a bar/ pub I find myself getting narked at intrusive music volumes…

It’s probably time to stay at hone with a tartan rug over my knees

The pre-match music should be Let Me Entertain You and Ready To Go.

Amongst the two worst worst songs in history….

But, it’s tradition so I’m inclined to agree :D

And he will fob you off with some lame excuse as normal

As someone who suffers from tinnitus and hearing loss. I have to wear ear plugs to the games because of the music noise. Even with the plugs in I could tell it was obscenely loud. During the Greatest Showman I measured on my phone up to 87 decibles and that's me sitting towards the front on the stand so God knows what the sound levels were for people at the back nearer to the speakers

Just so you know anything measuring above 85dB is considered a risk as it can cause permanent damage to the hair cells in the inner ear, leading to having hearing loss.
