Liverpool v Man City - what result do you want?

Recommended Posts

Don't want to be accused of "doing a treer" and starting a new thread for the sake of it, but think this game deserves separate discussion (if not mods, please merge with PL thread)

So our two title rivals  meet tomorrow. What do you think is the best result for us and what should we be hoping for?

Liverpool winning the premier league would be the worse thing to happen in English football.

To that end I want man city to smash them.

Then it's up to us to keep on winning

word for word...spot on!!!

Yeah that was kinda my thinking too.

I know a draw is maybe the obvs answer but Liverpool gaining a 6 point lead and remaining unbeaten doesn't sound good.

Liverpool to win and then immediately be expelled from the football league and liquidated. Keeps us ahead of Man City whilst simultaneously ridding the world of that insufferable club

A draw definitely but a city win would close the gap for us.

Also if City lose I feel they will throw the Towel in and go for the European Cup. Which is what they really want this season.

Manchester City win please, Liverpool have been jammy for far too long, By January I reckon we will be in first place.

Anything but a Liverpool win. Just means the top 4 closes up!
