Brendan the tinker man. Hope it works somehow. I get the rotation for the number of games we are playing and he may have told Jamie you can have a week or ten days paternity leave.

Largely down to to birth of his child otherwise no doubt he'd be in the squad. But yes the rest as a result will do him good.

Turns out we're both wrong, calf injury!

10 days to rest up for Southampton at least

It's clearly 352 with Fuchs at CB.

Gray isn't exactly over burdened with minutes this season. He's just had a decent game at West Ham, he can play twice in a week. If we were desperate enough for a winger that he put Chilwell out wide, he'd just play Gray.

I'd have liked Gray and Hamza still in, both had really good games and deserve to be in on merit. Tielemans has been muck flap for nearly a month and although I'm a fan boy of his he isn't bomb proof.

It was always going to be unlikely Vardy would be in the team, equal rights and paternity leave you know :P

He'll be demanding a 4 day week next.

Using wing-backs instead of wingers - I just hope Chillers gets forward though. Recent history shows that when we have played two left backs their instinct is to get in each others way.

My first thought was Chilwell on the wing but a back 3 makes sense too. Either way, it's a good line up.

352 seems decent. Giving Vardy a continued rest doesn't sound like the worst idea in the world to me either.

If we match the performance levels of the last match we should win you'd think, and can still bring on Hamza and Gray who were both great in that game if we need it.

Think it will be a bit of a slog but we will come away with all three points.

Now THAT is the spirit. This is how we should all approach every match. Big respect to your pragmatic and honest approach.

Playing three at the back to prepare for demital’s arrival .....,,,

Good way to show where he'd fit in too.

Praet injured?

Or on his way? I hope not!

Hopefully all just a bit of squad rotation for a busy January. If it's all a bit difficult for us to figure out, how much more tricky for Bruce?

Hope Perez has his scoring boots on today. At least show his old team something and be as effective for us as he was for them last season. This is a big game for him and Ihenacho.
