Chelsea Match Thread

Would take a draw right now tbh. Chelsea' need the 3 points more than us.

A pretty forgettable first half, Chelsea had more and better chances. If it wasn't for Evans, we'd be about 2-0, 3-0 down.

Our attacking threat is pretty much non-existent right now, has Vardy had a shot on goal?

Both teams going at it. Both teams could've scored goals. Would like us to be a bit tighter at the back. Decent game.

Guess I liked watching that half more than most of you.

He had the only gilt-edge chance of the match to date. Chelsea's GK saved it with his foot, IIRC.

Game is on a knife edge and could go either way. Plenty of hearts in mouth moments for both sets of supporters!

I get the feeling one moment of quality will settle it, but for whom I don't know!

Yes. It was on target as well. Cabelleo stop it.

Well, on the plus side it's a revelation to see Kante play.  His awareness and mobility are absolutely otherworldly.

As for us, pretty much unwatchable.  Evans has been great, but apart from that it's slim pick'ins.

We really need to find a solution to keep the ball and press forward when we're being pressed hard. Happened against Liverpool and Manchester city and though not in the same way but happening here too.

This playing from the back gets us in trouble time and time again it's been sussed out now by other sides against man City and when we do it, it's ****ing stupid

Just press our playing out from the back and we fold like a deck of cards. Panic stations. We panic pass and give it away.

Barnes. Rhe most infuriating player on our books? So much potential. So rarely  utilised  🤯

it's between him and Chills these days. Perez has been often infuriating this season but he's having a good game today imo

Kante is great to watch. Such a workhorse. Strong with a low centre of gravity.

Hamza is more leggy and looks more likely to commit GBH.

Evans - One Man Army!

Feel like we have been 2nd best most of that half. Vardy missing his chance and the defense apart from wonder-man Evans seems a bit fragile. Still all open.
