~£20mill isn't a bad bit of business. At 24 with the ability to develop more, still with option to sell for a profit in a few years should he develop. Gives us a solid player at both fullback positions. Decent signing.

We’ve signed someone, what are we going to complain about now?:frantics:

We still need a left back, centre back, right winger (left footed of course) and a striker. How long do these things take FFS.

Only Leicester could sell their best left back for £50m and spend half the money replacing him on someone that has played left back 8 times in his entire career.

What an absolute ****ing joke.

Leave Castagne in Atlanta's reserves and go and buy an actual left back like any normal club would ffs.

I believe it's the first time we've signed a running back from the Falcons.

Behave yourself

Its about depth and improving the squad. We've just signed an experienced international defender to add to an already successful contingent of Belgium players. No doubt this will help Youri and Praet as well.

New leftback next

It seems like this signing actually looks like it's going to materialise, I was hoping for a naturally left footed full back but think he'll be a good signing anyway. Michy Bashyuai is another Belgian I'd like.

No thanks. Not good enough IMO. Would much prefer Divock Origi.

Quite clear we are going to 3 at the back which means Castagne is likely to play left wing back, where he has played a good chunk of his career at Atalanta.
