Can't find my old thread, this'll have to do.

I cannot for the life of me fathom cryptic crosswords. Just don't get them at all.

First one is FINALLY.  (Horse = FILLY, Sodium = NA)

Are you sure the second one is two words? Thinking it could be TRANSFERRED.
