I've tried to be quite civil in my debates during this pandemic, and I also appreciate the need to remain sceptical of any knee-jerk measures being brought in. But this is one of the stupidest posts I have seen about the whole situation on any social media. It's like asking why we wear a hat and scarf when it's cold? The two things work together. There's evidence that suggests social distancing and mask wearing may reduce the viral load meaning the individual catches a milder form.

I mean you could question the measures if you want, but asking why people do two things in combination is genuinely baffling.

On top of this, it also protects and looks out for shop workers who constantly restock the shelves and work in the stores.

My Sainsbury's Local have started making people queue outside again.

Either masks work or they don't.

If they do, what's the need to make people queue as well?

If they don't, stop making people wear masks and just make people queue.

Doing both makes no sense.

If my seatbelt works why do I have airbags?

I presume you are referring to me, you may want to read this and all the signatures from people who have a much better understanding than you on the subject https://www.5gspaceappeal.org/the-appeal

the virus is nothing compared to the effects radiation can cause short and long term

I wasn't actually, if I had have been referring solely to you I would have said so. Interesting to see that you jumped to that conclusion though, and also that you assume I have little understanding of the subject. I suggest you read this: https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2020/05/great-5g-conspiracy/611317/ and come back to me, possibly on another thread though, maybe start a conspiracy theory thread if we don't already have one?

considering you laughed at my comment then it's not so far fetched, good swerve.

its not a conspiracy so there is no need to start a thread. the data is there for you to see for yourself the link you have provided is poor.

Let me know when it gets started Debs ..  as I have a theory that is defo 100% correct .. all I’ll say is that when JFK was shot the original suspect, who was arrested nearby but later released due to lack of evidence, was wearing blue suede shoes ..  and was all shook up ...   :yesyes:

Any ideas ...

Thought about this the other month at wickes, whilst queuing outside. What’s the actual difference  between queueing outside, apart from it being a bit chilly, and queueing inside at the till?

I don't buy into any global lizard control conspiracy, but I do find interesting that even supposed elite intelligence national leaders just simply follow the crowd. It just mus the be simple human nature to avoid beig the outlier.

Either that, or media is - apart from Sweden - not reporting how 80% of the world is dealing with this?

How's DR Congo coping? Ghana? Iceland? Phillipines? Saudi?.....is there any country out there, Sweden apart, not following the panic mode of Europe and the west?

Yes I laughed at your post, but my subsequent reply was not aimed solely at you as I said, I'm certainly not 'swerving' anything.lol

Are you serious, we’ve got two scientists with eyes on the sides of their head telling us what to do,  an American president who turns orange to blend in with his surroundings and a little old lady as head of state who is actually changing into a Komodo dragon in front of our eyes, and you’re doubting that there’s such a thing as lizard people

You didn't read where the research contained in the articles came from then? Funnily enough, from scientists

Will the World Health Organisation suffice for you, or are they a bit too mainstream for you as well? lol

https://www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detail/5g-mobile-networks-and-health

To date, and after much research performed, no adverse health effect has been causally linked with exposure to wireless technologies. Health-related conclusions are drawn from studies performed across the entire radio spectrum but, so far, only a few studies have been carried out at the frequencies to be used by 5G.

Tissue heating is the main mechanism of interaction between radiofrequency fields and the human body. Radiofrequency exposure levels from current technologies result in negligible temperature rise in the human body.

As the frequency increases, there is less penetration into the body tissues and absorption of the energy becomes more confined to the surface of the body (skin and eye). Provided that the overall exposure remains below international guidelines, no consequences for public health are anticipated.

It’s so they can control how many people are in store i think.Although in Wickes you usually get an aisle all to yourself anyway.

not really a fan of them either tbh, there the ones that created the mess we are in now.
