Think there should be a cart load of humble pie eaten from a cart load of posters after that.

Ive already had mine with some custard and cream, plus a strawberry sitting on the top.

Fantastic stuff. Played very well all over the pitch and kept their nerve even after missing chances, which could have caused a bit of bit of a wobble towards the end.

Genuinely chuffed with that. We controlled it other than a 15 minutes period in the 2nd half. So many positives everywhere. Youri back to his best , Vardy excellent, Thomas so calm, Wilf a beast.

But I will pick out an unsung hero this evening in Ryan Bennett for a mention. The guy was solid as f**k all night.

I could listen to Jonny Evans read audio books

Shades of Jimmy Nesbit. Soothing.

It goes to show that we just need to get back our:

- personality: Vardy, Wes, Evans

- will to attack: better movements upfront today

- passback with a purpose not out of fear: it is just one game, but I like Thomas already and his passes are better than Chilwell

A bit too much back passing in first half but second half has been good.

Following the criticism Rodgers got after the Bournemouth game think he got it spot on tonight. The experience and solidity Wes, Evans and Bennett showed allowed Justin and Thomas to really flourish (Chilwell watch your back). The subs were spot on too, easy to say when you’re winning, but Gray really stretched them and Hamza put himself about as usual. Ndidi was a monster, would love to know how many tackles he won. After some speculation surrounding Rodgers grasp on the squad I think the determination and strength showed by the lads tonight totally shut those rumours down.

Gray playing 20 minutes per match is an effective player.

We were absolutely superb from start to finish!!!

Defensively top class, gave Kasper hardly anything to do apart from the 1 save, Morgan literally hasnt missed a beat, Evans solid as ever, he got some stick but Bennett had a decent game, his long ball passing is actually pretty good, and the young lad Thomas, to play like that on your debut in what was a massive game, hats off to you sir, played like he has been in that spot all season

Midfield terrific, Youri plays better when hes the main man, played with that bit between his teeth, Wilf was like a man possessed, won everything in the middle

Class showing from Perez, he could trap a balloon in a tornado when hes on it, lovely composed finish, Vards was back to business, getting in behind, fantastic assist for Gray, Barnes was Barnes, you never know what your gonna get, should have scored and should have squared it to Ayoze with the position he was in, good performance from him though

Im so so buzzing with that win, it was the perfect response to sunday

Its a very happy household tonight

Apparently Chelsea fans are jizzing over another top Wilf performance increasing his record stats , recon they should sign him but we all know that Chelsea can do they can go and *********** OFF 😉
