Tuna 13,385 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 He'll be phased out like Shearer was at Newcastle long before he retires.

jonthefox 3,915 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 Spend plenty of £ on a replacement
Walkers 2,777 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 Supposing the replacement is actually decent it should be fine. Is it any wonder any other striker at this club struggles when Vardy plays as many mintues in one match than they typically do in a few months?
Hollyfox 872 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 He is incredible in the way we attack and defend. There's no doubt we are going to miss him. I'm sure the club are looking into this though

TK95 2,013 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 We'll miss him but would also imagine we'd spend big on a marquee signing. Not as if his replacement would need to worry about sitting on the bench

Corky 12,758 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 Rodgers should donate some of his wages to Vardy for the amount of times he's dragged us through.
Freeman's Wharfer 2,420 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 I hope we’ve got a saving account going in preparation for it. There will need to be about £80m in it by the time we’re looking for a replacement.
Fox92 11,434 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 We’ll not be able to replace him because there’s nobody else like him.
Lambert09 2,747 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 (edited) For a club praised for forward thinking we are really asking for trouble by not getting a successor lined up. This season was really the one to do it with the extra games to bed someone in. Edited 18 October 2020 by Lambert09

deanolegend1989 742 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 He will seemingly never get the credit he truly deserves from the media, but the guy is an absolutely world class striker and he proved it today by not even playing! Look how bad we were, absolutely no threat, useless. Remember the Norwich away game last season? Probably another one of the worst performances we’ve had since BR(Norwich lost everything single game after that). As I said in a previous post, prime Vardy in a top team would score 30+ a season, the guy is incredible. The only reason we’ve done so well over the years is because of him. Never be touted as a world great because he’s not technically ‘beautiful’ but he is as good a goal scorer and lethal striker in world football, extremely intelligent finding space and an absolute unique talent. We will have an absolutely impossible task to replace him.
Corky 12,758 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 Unless we change the way we play or others start taking responsibility we'll look crap without him. He makes things out of very little, the rest get very little and can't do the same.

Sly 1,745 Posted 18 October 2020 Report Share Posted 18 October 2020 Martinez at Inter Milan is the closest I’ve seen to Vardy. Unfortunately we’ve little to no chance of getting him!!
