Monk 411 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 Looks 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1 to me!

Thats the formation id probably go with, with the players he has selected. Slightly worried about that defence though... but still optimistic 🦊⚽️🦊⚽️
Jaspa 2,157 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 Anyone know many times have we've beaten a non-English/Welsh country's capital city team?
StriderHiryu 17,030 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 I think Under and Albrighton are on the wrong sides here, Morgan and Fofana could also be changed over.
jeffschlupp 1,624 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 For me this ought to be Hamza's last chance at impressing in a defensive midfield role, that is if it's a 4-3-3. I would rather see Rodgers try Praet there in the absence of Mendy and Ndidi than have someone who, every time I've seen him, cannot keep himself in his position for longer than 5 seconds. Corky 12,935 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 We can't play the same 11 each week, decent line-up with strength on the bench.
Detroit Blues 841 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 4-2-3-1 Kasper Justin - Fofana - Morgan - Fuchs Choudhury - Tielemans Under - Maddison -Albrighton Vardy
LCCFox96 945 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 Are Evans and Castagne injured? I'm happy with the team we've put out but I would definitely have both of those guys plonked on the bench just incase. Looking forward to seeing Under in from the start. Brendan said everyone that was fit traveled but again two GKs on the bench and only 8 subs. Castagne looked like he picked up a leg injury (?) at the end of the Arsenal game so probably wasn't risked. Evans probably picked up a slight knock too so didn't travel. I don't think either will be doubts for Monday though.
RowlattsFox 2,242 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 I know the intention was to rest them, and we probably had to take them with us just in case of any last minute covid illness or test. But why not just name them on the bench just in case?
gw_leics772 1,267 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 Strong enough and plenty rested. And another weird formation. Wicked/interesting

Ric Flair 20,428 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 Looking forward to seeing Ünder link up with Vardy again and hopefully Thomas gets some minutes in a comfy win!
StriderHiryu 17,030 Posted 29 October 2020 Report Share Posted 29 October 2020 I have to say I didn't think I would be as excited European games as I am! Despite not being at the ground and there being no crowd, playing all of these teams that we know very little about and midweek is actually really awesome! COYB!

Could be Bruges all over again. Tbh, got no idea how this will go and know very little about AEK. Hoping for a positive result and no fresh injuries 🤞

They have an Italian manager and play a fairly old school Serie A type approach. Compact blocks, defensively orientated.
