Corky 12,968 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 Messi would be sensational to watch. But I think it would be all about him. Vardy gets a lot of attention but you still feel he's under the radar, to an extent. Plus we know what Vardy brings.
shailen 1,904 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 Genuinely there is no argument that Messi is the best player of this era but Vardy brings his story, personality, aggression, raw pace to his game which imo is as exciting as football gets. Also to have Vardy since we started our meteroic rise is another factor which makes him a legend alongside the likes of Kasper and Morgan.
Pliskin 2,385 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 Pffft, messi.... ruddy bollocks.
SkidsFox 102 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 We'd have to sell Fofana, Castagne, Maddison, Ndidi, Tielemans and Praet, to pay for his wages. So, no.
TK95 2,118 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 You could get 3 finely chopped carrots on your plate in a Michelin star restaurant or settle for a cheeky Nandos. I know what I'd prefer

Messi doesn’t play how we do and we would need a whole new team to play to his strengths
Mark_w 5,320 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 I can't imagine Messi's heart would really be in it and they're both at potential retirement age so we'd probably be better off sticking with the one who seems genuinley eager to be here. Bats8711 400 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 I can’t believe even one LCFC fan would vote yes on this. It’s not about whether Messi is “better”.
deanolegend1989 783 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 Right now Messi is on the decline anyway and so not a chance. Few years ago I’d stick with Vardy but it would be through the heart, now it’s not even a question. Vardy 100% every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Guest Markyblue Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 We ask for loyalty from the players and 30% of our fans would swap our greatest ever player...sad.
Vazman 79 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 NO, I wouldnt, JV is a true Fox, who has remained loyal to the Club, and is so reliable.

Spiritwalker 733 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 There’s no way Messi would do the eagle celebration at Palace.
Nalis 5,109 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 I'd be happy to see Vardy at Barca and do the Hawthorns/Bramall Lane style celebrations at the Bernabeu post-covid.
Fox in the North 1,489 Posted 26 November 2020 Report Share Posted 26 November 2020 (edited) Both are completely different players. They both play differently for starters. Vardy for us is just godlike but it’s also his journey, and our journey with him too, that makes him so special to us. He is irreplaceable for what he’s done and still does for us. That being said, I don’t imagine for the Barca fans this is a hard choice though. Why wouldn’t you want Messi here? His skill and vision are nigh on unparalleled and he can literally drag a team to win a league or European cup. Edited 26 November 2020 by Fox in the North
