If Vardy is fit at the weekend then he's back on the bench. I thought Nacho was brilliant, yes it was Fulham, but the turn to create the 2nd by passing to Maddison? the hold up play? giving Maddison more passing options? he plays like that every game, an he gets more minutes even when Vardy is fit, if you got that every time from Nacho, he'd be coming on regularly with 20 mins to go for Vardy, if we have the game already won. 6

Paddy. 15,014 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February That save from Kasper won us that game as much as anything. Fulham were shite but that header goes in and it's a different game. Unbelievable save. 2

Hamza gives him the ball well in our half. He makes a first-time strong, crisp pass to Ian. Runs the length of the pitch. Slots it home. Magnificent.
sishades 1,102 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February Great win, but that second half was like watching paint dry, but tactically very good. However against Wolves we will have to be more on our toes as the common theme in that game was giving the ball away and poor defending at corners. Sausage rolls and doughnuts at work tomorrow to celebrate.

NaijaFox 1,350 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February "Professional performance," I guess. But we snoozed through that second-half. 3 more points in the bag!
fox_favourite 478 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February Not pretty, but 3pts which is what we needed. Maybe a better side would have been a different outcome. But can't argue at the points. Nacho man was good as was Justin and Tielemens, who I think he's playing better this season then towards the end of last. We move onto the next game
Col city fan 11,636 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February As good as we were, especially first half, Fulham were bloody awful too. They were toothless in the final third Good win for City, potential banana skin avoided there
Milo 2,471 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February Jeez that second half was dull. Good win. Move on.
Guest 1,758 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February Christ they were shit. If we narrowly miss out this year then the home game against them is going to really stand out as a shocker. Two very nice goals, Iheanacho did superbly for both - not surprised to see him looking absolutely shattered towards the end but he worked hard throughout. Justin and Tielemans probably the pick of the bunch, great to see Ricardo looking like his old self as well. For all that the second half wasn't thrill-a-minute stuff, I don't think we ever looked in danger of slipping up and the Amartey sub gave them another centre back to hit with all their aimless crosses. Save energy, get the win, job done, onto the next one. Not sure how anyone can have any real complaints about that one.

Riot Van 414 Posted 3 February Report Share Posted 3 February Solid that. It was all about getting back on track after the Leeds game and the lads did it perfectly.
