Madders changed the game imho. Well done Nacho but we moved up a couple of gears when Madders came on. Thought he was up there with VDC as motm despite it being just a cameo.

Thankfully Ünder and Tielemans didn't wait for him to trot over to take that last corner though. We'd probably still be waiting.

Or they would have finally made one of their breakaways from OUR corners pay. It's shocking how many times we hit their first man, bounces away and they broke on us. Every team in the league should be seeing how bad we are at corners and how easy it is to break from them. Because it's not some one off. I seriously have no idea what our coaches are doing. Half way through the season and it's still not been addressed. I don't get it.

Wow we were grim ......

Really grim. No motivation or team cohesion for most of it. Don't know how we came away with the win in the end

A pretty blunt game but we probably just about edged it over the 90mins. We absolutely didn't need extra time so avoiding that was key. Nice to see a bit of creativity with a corner, great cross by Youri and a tidy header from Iheanacho. Nice for Nacho to have his moment and be the match winner.

If JJ's injury isn't too bad as Rodgers alluded to then - whilst it was ugly - it was job done smoothly enough.

Straight out of the Vardy school of interviews. One game at a time, work hard in training etc. Bless him. Once again tho, he has done the business for us. He has his knockers, and I have critiqued some of his performances but fair play to him. How many could actually do what he does for us, sits on the bench, when he does start, he knows he will be dropped if JV is fit, yet he still gets goals when it matters.

Yes - he will probably be out but I do recall the game away to Villa last season when both Kelechi and Vardy started. Both played well; each scored and then BR subbed Kelechi at half time. It is not either/or. They can both play together with Kelechi deeper than Vards. It would add something by way of goal threat - better than playing Perez up front.

Surprised no one mentioned how dissapointing Thomas was tonight.   I am a fan and was looking forward to seeing him to make most of a rare start but he was really invisible.   I think the confusing formation and poor performances by others did not help but compared to Daley-Campbell who at least tried to make things happen,  Thomas was distinctly poor.   One to forget and I hope Thomas can put it behind him.

I thought he played quite well, did very little going forward though but defensively he was good.

Very poor quality game, the 3-4-3 really doesn’t suit us as we always end up playing a flat back 5, we don’t really have specialist wingbacks to play it, hopefully we don’t see this again.

Hopefully this performance will shut up the Under fan boys, dear god he is a frustrating player, no way are we spaffing £20m+ on someone who only uses a right foot to stand on.

Fair play to Daley-Campbell, faded in 2nd half, will have to work on fitness to keep up with full men’s game, season out on loan next season etc

This forum wrote the same BS over Justin....& Thomas..!! :giggle:

We will take the win but it doesn't disguise what a piss poor performance that was. I don't even blame the players, that was on Brendan and his obsession with playing defensive at home against shit teams.

I thought Thomas had a decent game. Didn't offer a lot going forward today but did everything required of him defensively.

That was terrible. We can be very boring when we want.

Get in the final third, slow it down and let the oppo regroup, then go sideways or backwards.

Couldnt have argued if we'd lost that.

Hope Justin is ok and his fantastic form isnt derailed.

Its hard to post anything positive at all. Honestly compels me to admit the best team ,who were also appalling, lost. You would really think an organisation where management are paid in millions per annum and the main employees considered worth millions , paid thousnds per week , and called professionals, could do several times better. There were exceptions and after  rewatching the match summary just to check I really saw that I'll try and write something positive about them.

We are considered one of the better clubs and usually I agree. It just feels a bit unbelieveable at the moment. Usually its arguable whether modern football is sport or entertainment. At least I found out it must be sport, but not as we used to know it.

Not currently at home and no access to watch our matches, accommodation wifi isn't very good either for streaming. I'd been disappointed at the prospect of missing last night and wolves. It would appear that I should actually be grateful for this

And based on the comments about performance levels, the same applies for Saturday.

He has a LOT of developing to do in my opinion. Plenty of time for him to improve.

He's good, and has potential but is nowhere near ready for the first team right now at this level. If we can, i'd send him on loan next season to the championship and he may benefit in the way Harvey Barnes did.
