gw_leics772 1,366 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Take that, move.on. stopped the rot. Normally I'd take win or lose when we're level towards the end. All or nothing, and points wise it would be worth the risk, but needed to not lose today.

Fvcking Burnley. Well yeah on paper. But it's not like we're losing consistently are we? I swear some people are so short-sighted and either choose to ignore the big picture or just can't see it. 10
Aus Fox 9,030 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Positives: Kasper world class again tonight brilliant goal from Iheanacho, will do his confidence the world of good. Fofana back from injury 50 points on the board It’s not all doom and gloom, after Arsenal and Prague it was vital not to loose that game and we didn’t. Against Brighton play the team that finished the game here. If we can get to the international break with a 6 point buffer over 5th, we’re in a great position.
rachhere 1,956 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March That could have gone horrifically wrong. Once we went down to the early goal a draw was always going to be a good result. Hopefully this will turn the tide for us now.

Sunbury Fox 1,750 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March In the history of football has there ever been a top flight team worse at defending and attacking set pieces than this current Leicester team? I'm literally in bits every time the opposition get a corner or free kick. Meantime, we haven't scored direct from a corner since November 2019.
Frost 506 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Lucky to get a point - Kasper saved us more than once. Soyuncu and Hamza were both horrendous, the latter needs to leave. That 3/5 at the back was a disaster, not sure why it took BR so long to change it.

People going on about bottle and cojones - find a new script, yours is cliched, tired and probably entirely inaccurate. If it was like some make out we'd have folded when Hamza gave them the goal. Legend_in_blue 1,760 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March We looked sharper in the final 15 minutes at least. That's a positive. No injuries. A point is not a bad result and considering the next two games, we should be looking at another 6.
Tom12345 1,317 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Poor selection and poor tactics. Starting with so many defensive players considering the lack of attacking players we have available was criminal. Hamza was too negative. Starting Nachos was great taking, him off was not. Hamza should not have played considering the rest of the team selection. No midfield linkup. Should have started with Tavares or Under.
Le Renard 207 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March It is all about grinding out results until the international break and it is not going to be pretty!
sdb 2,807 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Mediocre really but good to see the heads didn't drop after conceding so early. I thought we looked uncharacteristically blunt in their final third. Hate to single out players but Amartey and Hamza were honkingly bad.
SO1 1,724 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March I'll take it considering the injuries. Little Wes is back and bossing it. Tavares looking like a real player with serious attitude. A good day for me.
HeskeyForever 7 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Played better than we did against Arsenal. Albrighton came on and played well I thought - we needed all the height we could get and was good to see us defend set pieces properly. Hopefully Fofana can start against Brighton and Ndidi can return to the middle, alongside Hamza getting absolutely nowhere near the bus.
KrefelderFox666 1,309 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Decent point, got Schmeichel to thank. Could easily have been 3/4-1 Burnley. Not a great performance but one more point. Really need to get 2 wins now though before a tough April.
Matt 4,870 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March I’ll take a point given yet another poor performance to add to the past month but it just adds fuel to the fire likening it to last seasons drop off given the string of poor performances. Not good enough.
Claridge 779 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March 4 minutes ago, EnderbyFox said: Baffled by Rodgers subs sometimes.. 1) How did Hamza survive 75 minutes? 2) Why does he always seem to sub Iheanacho off when he's playing well? 3) There is literally no excuse to play Amartey RB when Castagne and Ricardo are both on the pitch and Thomas is on the bench. Its a complete waste of a position as he adds nothing. Good job Kasper is World Class otherwise we lose that comfortably.. how does hamza get anywhere near the starting11. I cant see one thing he does well, totally useless
martyn 1,634 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March (edited) 2nd half was a tough watch. Starting them slowly is becoming a common theme. The midfield was getting completely bypassed and the back 3 were collectively, and individually an absolute bombscare. We didn't have enough technical players or leaders on the pitch to manage the game and take the sting out of it. We're the kind of side who struggles to turn the tide of a game when it starts going against us. Edited 3 March by martyn

Chester Dontlie 1,692 Posted 3 March Report Share Posted 3 March Obviously one point is better than none but I was massively disappointed with our set up and negative tactics. Taking off Nacho who scored and was full of energy while keeping dead tired and average (at best) Vards... Keeping Hamza who had a mare until last minutes. Kasper MOTM for me, he saved us from embarassment.

Lucky to get two more draws at this rate.
