I'm away on holiday at the moment so with the timezones it's hard to follow them live. So waking up to win after win I'm absolutely delighted! It's a sensational start against some very good sides! 

 

What a throwback it will be if we can do it this year. Still a long to go but come on you foxes!

Defending 150 is like old school T20, we've been so used to scores of 170+ in recent years only scoring 140-150 seems like a failure it's good to see bowlers learning how to defend smallish totals.

northants tonight, it'll be a great effort to keep them down to 150!

Don't think Pietersen ever hid the fact he wanted to play test cricket for England, it was more of a statement about Sky's rather one sided commentary and all of a sudden they were having to say we are not a bad side and in T20 very comfortably defending 145 was so going notwithstanding I thought the pitch was not great and as it proved 145 was a very good score.

Obviously with blue tinted glasses just a how wonderful Durham are and by the way they are playing Leicestershire, Durham are really good fine young side played 2 lost 2 going to get the season  started. Leicester btw played 3 won 3. Botham, Stokes and Plunkett on commentary at one stage when we were coasting Plunkett was asked if he thought we were a good side and he ignored the question and had to be re-asked it. WE went great guns for the first 6 or 8 overs but then really struggled to limp to 144, Cosgrove got himself in then could not time the ball it just was not coming on and it was all about Durham's wonderful bowling In restricting us to 144 off 20 overs. Big ground big outfield the ball just was not coming onto the bat but it was all about Durham and how good they were. Even at 0-1 off 1 ball 15 for 3 off 4 overs or about 27 off the power play they were always struggling. They were never up wit the run rate and only needing 145 off 20 overs 7.25 an over it is never really going to rocket up and though it was tense they never got close and even when they need 10/11/12 an over and were getting 7/8/9 Sky kept saying they were keeping up. It was just a really disciplined effort from us in the field

I was wondering if we'd been criticised for our lack of English players, no doubt that'll be next!

Yep, awful.

 

They praised the young lad for Durham for hitting a shot what scored two. After all that build-up, he was out two balls later - his figures were 9 runs from 15 balls. It took until about the 15th over of the Durham innings before anyone praised Leicestershire - unsurprisingly from Cork who is more in tune with the county game. The broadcasters from Sky had clearly done no research on us before the game because the performance had huge similarities to our victory at Edgbaston and that game wasn't mentioned once. 

 

From a broadcaster point of view, it was awful commentary. There was no chemistry between Cork and Botham. At times, there were long silences. Neither Plunkett or Stokes added any significant insight. It was dire.

Fair point the Durham side was full of local players with no overseas player.We had 3 South Africans 2 Aussie's and a kiwi.The only local players we had playing Wells and Hill are both useless

Following this team is so depressing. Finally thought we'd turned the corner and yet after 4 good wins in this format we've gone back to the norm. How did we lose playing at home against a team who'd lost 6 out of 6, after we'd got a really good score batting and had them struggling early on? Absolutely useless.

Yes it's sickening,  yet again Pillians was the guy that let the team down

After a very promising start to the only hope of salvaging a poor season it seems that we are in danger of missing out on qualification again (although Durham being ten points behind means we shouldn't finish bottom). 

 

After some progress last season, this has been very disappointing.
