Just heard on RL.......... David Smith wants to bring in Brad Hodge for 20/20

The return of a Leicestershire legend (ish) :thumbup:

Oh good, Brad "I'm off to Lancashire for a tad more cash" Hodge is coming back.

That said, I'm going to disregard the ethics of the situation and say we should take any quality cricketer who's willing to pull on the shirt this season, Hodge included. Would be a good move.

So we've signed Hoggard, a great talent for the club and should do well for Leicestershire.

But it isn't a one-man game. To be honest I haven't kept up with any other signings we've made (if any), but can leicestershire now push on and make a target of aiming for promotion next season?

Maybe not next year, but with the youngsters gaining valuable experience, 2011 could be the season to push on.

Good one-day season and a better performance in the Championship would do for me.

I dont mind the 20/20 one, also Brad Hodge on the verge of signing for us again. Buck, Smith & Cobb signed 3 year extensions. :thumbup:

I'll grudgingly allow moneybags back into the fold, but only because he's quality.
