and kudos to whoever is writing the daily reports on the LCCC website. Informative, honest, detailed and humorous. I hope they don't get the LCFC website bug and stop blathering on about the crowd being the 12th man blah blah blah

Anyone here reckon promotion is a possibility? I have a really good feeling about this season, and White + Henderson have impressed me in the bowling department, and Taylor is as supreme as ever in the batting! With Hoggy as captain, anything can happen, but i'm looking forward to one of our best seasons for years.

Not sure about promotion, but we look set to have a better campaign by far.

Really good start this morning, but we've just lost Nixon and Taylor after luch, but are still fairly comfortable on 126/3, with Jefferson having a good innings currently on 66. Hopefull we can get at least 250 to 300, then rip into them with our bowling attack!

206 all out good effort from the lads with a 73 lead but we need to bat well and get around 230-250 which should be more than enough to put us in an unbeatable position.

Derbys 13-1, chasing 403 to win.

We're in a very good position.

Rogers out for a duck is a massive wicket, especially considering what he did last week against Surrey!

We haven't made any progress so far this morning, and we need to get Madsen out soon otherwise that could be it for two wins on the bounce. If we don't win, i reckon its because we didn't declare earlier. I know White wanted a century, but to be honest, a 350 lead would have been fine with me. Oh well, at least it looks like we will be unbeaten...

Yeah true. We scored far too slowly yesterday too.

Two quick wickets are needed after lunch then it's game on. Probably should have had ore time at them last night tbh. We could have had them 2 or 3 down which would have put one nail in the coffin.
