Yep, but it's stopped the run of defeats and we've gained some bonus points, with a couple of players getting into strong batting form.

I'll take it.

I wasn't grumbling about the value of a draw just that they didn't let McDonald go for his 200 runs.

Yeah, I know you weren't, would've been good to see two players hit 200 but they probably declared to try and get early wickets in the late evening.

I think we let them get 10-20 more runs than they should have but there are a lot of games to go. I think Benning needs to be opening with Jefferson/Hodge, Du Toit is better in the middle order I think.

Made 479 in our first innings vs Surrey - day 3 today, got them all out for 236 - Claude taking 6 :)

Really need to turn positions like this into convincing victories, so hope we can do so...Claude & Jigar to rip them up.

Won by an innings and 60 runs.

Jigar Naik taking 7 in the second innings, Claude 8 in the mate (6 in the first innings).

Superb performance and to do it at The Oval will be a memorable occasion for many players I'm sure.

Impressive win that.

Did very well to get 36 overs in, I know they have floodlights but the weather looked dreadful when my local news went to Northampton about 7pm.
