Is it Starmer's power to remove her?

You should hope the local councillors do it. It's going to take a while to get rid of this lot that have infested the party and probably longer to cure the moral superiority complex that causes behaviour like this as it's gone unchecked since 2015.

Speaking of that,

Is there a more self absorbed pair of arseholes on the planet than these two? Talk about timing, what a contrast to the way his grandparent behaves in front of the public.

I also didn't realise the part of Canada they had chosen to leave for was Los Angeles, imagine my shock when I found out.

And to think they, only last month, despite letting it be known they wanted to live in LA, said they were refusing to move while Trump was in charge. Great choice in LA too, It's almost as if they decided they wanted to live in a back slapping bubble lol

The original stance was pretty hilarious anyway, we wont live under Trump but we will under a bloke who spent his youth as an extra on the black and white minstrel show. Even I thought they'd at least do a bit of time though to play along with the story.

LA is perfect for them, he can go around touting her for business and she gets to live near all her mates, I'd imagine it was the plan all along.

Wow. We've gone from 6 months to suspend someone for denying the holocaust to ejection  within 24 hours.

Well done the Labour party on your competence, reaction and effectiveness. Feels weird saying that.

TBF without looking individually at each antisemitism case, this one was as cut and dry as you can get.

Maybe. A week ago this person today wouldn't even be facing disciplinary procedures though.

I think Starmer realises many of the public now view the left as the nastier side of politics, to win he will have to change that or at least separate his party from it.

Strange how certain people are above any form of criticism or public scrutiny.

Yep - I’m no royalist (maybe that’s the issue here - dunno) but sticking them in this thread for launching a charity?

What? They're doing a good thing, setting up a charity.

Why is that a bad thing lol lol

It's nothing to do with being above criticism or scrutiny. What could you possibly see bad in setting up a charity to do something good?!

Richard Branson - taking time off from suing the NHS to move assets  to a tax haven whilst asking the government for a £500 mill bailout of his crappy airline

makes you wonder whether it’s a requirement or compulsory for British billionaires ( Green, Ashley et al ) to be greedy amoral c***s

I wasn't posting it because of the charity work.

Maybe it's a bit strong but unfortunately we don't have a "hollywood hypocrites and ginger tossers of our time" thread.

Woman bites police officers - tells others she hopes they get coronavirus

She assaulted five officers in all and now faces a jail term

A thief assaulted five police officers - biting them and coughing at them after saying she had coronavirus.

Stacey Blackham said she hoped one of the Leicestershire officers would die and told another she hoped his family would get Covid-19 after they arrested her on Tuesday afternoon.

In a separate matter, she tried to spray a Lynx aerosol deodorant in the eyes of a store detective eyes. She was unable to unlock it.

The 34-year-old appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, via videolink from HMP Peterborough.

She admitted five charges of assaulting officers and another of racially abusing a police sergeant.

Matthew Dowsett, prosecuting, said a police constable saw Blackham in the front garden of a house in Fosse Road South at 12.40pm on Tuesday.

He said the officer was aware she was breaching an anti-social behaviour order and was wanted by Nottinghamshire Police so he stopped to arrest her.

Mr Dowsett said: “She said she had Covid and couldn’t be arrested.

“The officer said she could and her temperature would be taken before she went into custody and put her in the back of the car.

“While seated in the back she started kicking the car window.

“He tried to control her and she turned her head to face him and bit his left forearm.”

The court heard the officer's arm was throbbing and bleeding and Blackham tried to pull off his protective face mask.

Mr Dowsett said a police sergeant arrived to assist and was coughed at deliberately, adding: “The defendant pulled her leggings down and exposed her thigh.

“She was displaying erratic behaviour by removing her clothing.”

The court heard she then coughed at a third officer, saying “I hope I give you coronavirus", before racially abusing the sergeant.

She was then put in the back of a police van but continued to cough at officers through the door saying: “I hope you and your family get coronavirus.”

Mr Dowsett said Blackham then refused to have her temperature taken by another officer who she bit on the left index finger, drawing blood but not piercing his PPE glove.

He said Blackham, of no fixed abode, told officers she also had Hepatitis C.

Euan Edwards, defending, said the defendants' previous 25 convictions were largely for theft matters and that she was capable of "periods of civility" between her offending.

District Judge Nick Watson told Blackham: “The offences are ones that put those serving the public at risk of contracting coronavirus.

“You assaulted five police officers. You bit them a,nd you tried to pull the masks from their faces.

“You said you hoped they would die and you were racially abusive to them.

“You told them you had Hepatitis C and you bit two of them.

“I have to conclude my sentencing powers are insufficient.”

He said she would be sentenced at Leicester Crown Court, where she could expect to get more than a year in prison.

Blackham will also be sentenced for a shoplifting offence, which she had previously admitted and racially aggravated assault on a Lidl store detective. She had been found guilty of this in her absence.

Mr Dowsett said she had stolen a small safe from the Lidl store in Arnold, near Nottingham, on October 25 last year.

He said she had picked up the £25 security box and left the store without paying.

She was detained by the store detective and became aggressive attempting to kick him in the groin while also swearing at him and calling him a monkey.

She picked up a Lynx aerosol deodorant and tried to spray it in his eyes but she was unable to unlock it.

Mr Dowsett said: “She pulled her underwear all the way down, bent over and exposed her bottom and said ‘You can kiss my arse.’

She was then rude about the police.
