Fox92 11,496 Posted 26 September 2020 Report Share Posted 26 September 2020 Currently listening to Arthur (the Kinks). Not sure why I haven't listened to it for ages but I've played it in the last two days now. Not that many bad tracks on it, if any.
Popular Post Trav Le Bleu 8,541 Posted 26 September 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted 26 September 2020 I thought I owned this, but couldn't find it in my CD collection a couple of weeks ago. Then I saw it in a charity shop and snapped it up. I'm thinking that my brother had it when we both used to live at our parents and had a shared music collection. In which case I haven't listened to this in it's entirety in over 25 years! Still a cracker though. It's Debut by Bjork for the uninitiated.

Why don't we all listen to Maximo Park more often? Our Velocity is one of my all time most played songs I reckon. Also loved Acrobat from the album previous, slightly different change in tempo there.

Lizzy 53 Posted 7 October 2020 Report Share Posted 7 October 2020 On the subject i can really recommend this site for getting to listen to some stuff you havent heard in a while. It simply gives you an album to listen to each day, all more or less classics. http://1001albumsgenerator.com/ For today im revisiting this one, Suicides debut from 1977. Such a great album.
