As a person who admires messi's talent, the barca management wasting his prime should be considers a crime! The amount of money they spent for players like andre gomes, Arda and paulinho is stupid, you can't even laugh at them because their board is that bad! Surrounded by subpar players, ageing midfield and weak bench.

Carl the Llama Posted 24 August 2017 Share Posted 24 August 2017 Gotta love Barca spitting their dummies out at becoming victims to the soulless capitalist football machine that they've played a big part in building.
Stadt Posted 24 August 2017 Share Posted 24 August 2017 Barca act like they're above Madrid when it comes to being less corporate but they're just as bad, they have an office in NY ffs.

MC Prussian Posted 25 August 2017 Share Posted 25 August 2017 Dembélé deal to Barcelona allegedly a done deal, according to German news sources. Will cost them 120 million Euro (£110m) upfront, with an additional 30 million Euro (£27m) as bonus. Congrats to Dortmund for playing a tough hand here and benching the little sulky ****. There's enough info today that shows what a terrible influence his agent and family has on him. Well, he has several agents who all want a piece of the pie. I assumed he was bound to go somewhere but the window's nearly closing and it doesn't really look like anyone's about to budge. With Lacazette, Lukaku and Morata going to the big English sides, they've clearly made their choices. Juve don't need him, Inter have kept on to Maurito, Milan have gone for Silva, Calhanoglu and Kalinic, Atletico can't buy anyone but have kept Griezman. Where's he going? Finnegan Posted 28 August 2017 Share Posted 28 August 2017 Just now, Wookie said: Next summer he'll go somewhere if he scores 30 goals again Yeah definitely, he'll probably go somewhere if he only scores 20 odd. But getting a transfer depends on there being a buying club out there that needs and wants you as well as you being a tidy player. The big clubs all just went elsewhere and didn't want to take a punt on Belotti. I'll be surprised if he moves in this window now. But who knows? Someone might panic last minute. I actually sat watching the game thinking whether or not I'd have him here (before he did that admittedly!) and it genuinely occurred to me that not many strikers would get in the team ahead of Vardy. There has to be a space for you somewhere and I'm not sure he's of a caliber that's good enough to force his way in to a top club yet.

I was thinking probably next year rather than this window but I didn't make that clear. There will be a club that needs him, there's always some random circumstances that get thrown up. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Real next summer as there was rumours about Benzema and Bale going

Finnegan Posted 31 August 2017 Share Posted 31 August 2017 I hate the money in football as much as the next hypocrite socialist with a season ticket but even I've got to admire and be amused by the audacity of PSG. Under the kosh on the FFP front for signing up Neymar for an unbelievable 200m, in serious need of selling off some assets to be compliant. How do they respond? Buy Kylian Mbappe for 130m.
