I can't believe you think 2 fascists are better than starmer.

You must love trump right now.

I think you need to pick up a dictionary and look up the definition of fascist ! If you still have the same opinion then it definitely backs up my opinion that the right to vote should be taken away from a vast majority of people.

Having last been out last in town on a Tuesday in August and been pleasantly surprised, last night (Friday) was first weekend night for a long time. It was upsetting to see. No busier than Tuesday. 3 or four tables at each restaurant I snooped in. Bars with 4 or five tables occupied, all quietly sitting and minding their own business (quite pleasant in a low key way)

The city as it was, I'm afraid, is lost. The 'white flight' is as rapid as it is startling. Belvoir street and granby street and London road you won't see a white face. The students (who should prop up the nightlife) are London blacks who party differently. Or Chinese. Or Indians and africans who have scammed a visa to do deliveroo.

I can only assume now, those who once used to go into town prefer to stay in their hometown locals for a bit of life; , ratbys, grobys, shepsheds, harboroughs, Broughton astleys etc

On a wider note, it doesn't bode well long term for City's core support. The support was traditionally around 50% urban Leicester and 50% county. It must be up to 80% county based now.

So true😞 desperately sad what’s happening to this country.

Well, I wouldn't have minded seeing something a little meatier in terms of takes on specific policy and what the future will actually look like under this kind of governance, but appreciate the input.

Actually taking steps to end 2 awful wars which Biden did absolutely nothing to stop. Explaining previous US governments actively pushed Ukraine into this madness with false promises of NATO membership which was promised would NEVER happen to Russia.

Trying to end this disastrous illegal migration which is destabilising countries all across the globe.

    Ending woke madness etc

Also reading this forum lately about the Ukraine war the lack of knowledge is staggering. I think the vast majority on here  had never even heard of Ukraine 4 years ago. Had absolutely no idea about how right wing and corrupt it is and probably wouldn’t find it on a map if their life depended on it.! But all of a sudden everyone is an expert only by watching MSM.
You are one of very few I’d bother engaging with!

...I wonder what any of our esteemed members who were totally OK with Trump winning the election (and there are quite a few, if I remember right) think of his first month or so running the show?

Would be interesting to hear any grounded perspective on that score.

Wonderful. Don’t agree with some things but generally so glad to see common sense and leadership. Hopefully Germany and France follow and the rest of Europe wakes up. Doubtful though with ‘ democratic’ 🙄Europe not allowing free elections.

Won’t say anymore because I’ll probably get banned again for saying ‘ the wrong thing which doesn’t fit the narrative in this echo chamber forum ‘

I’m still in the depression phase of grief about western values of liberal democracy being on their last legs sadly. But I’m starting to reach acceptance.

If it was just the uk or Farage and Trump I think I’d go out and campaign against them, but it’s the whole of Europe, North America and Australasia trending this way and not just one or two leaders and feels too big and unstoppable at this point.

It’s a shame this did happen 20 years ago!

The place’s you mentioned above wouldn’t be in the mess they’re in today. Maybe it’s people finally waking up to the situation. Unfortunately it’s too late. Hopefully I’m wrong.

    Cheer up though…. It’s the 20th soon!

Nah PL win was a fluke season, FA cup win was our true moment in history with the strongest character at the helm. BR FACUP masterclass. :brendan_still:

You really are a sad little boy…. Don’t you have anything better to do than wind people up? Go away and do something constructive with your life!

  7. Don’t buy anyone. Pay off the poisonous dwarf instead. Get rid of his medical staff and get the injured players fit and we have more than enough quality to stay up. Get Dyche in until the end of the season and then reassess. Look back at his record at Liverpool and Celtic regarding injuries, signings and drop off in form and constant whining regarding transfer funds!! He only cares for himself and money.
Also how anybody can tolerate this passive, negative, soulless garbage brand of football is beyond me! The apathy in the the fan base is like nothing I’ve seen in 44 years of following this club home and away!! Whilst we get relegated he moves on to another job totally free of blame by the main stream media and our passionless fans. So sad 😞
