  1. This was the day we faced Man Utd at Filbert St and lost  thereby confirming relegation in our last season at Filbert St. Spontaneously ,despite losing, part way thru the game the whole ground started singing in spite of the now confirmed relegation. TV cameras were there that day and it was quite a sight to see given our predicament and future in the Championship having been decided. Just shows that when we see a team that is trying, even though we were crap, the fans will always get behind the team. Can you imagine the same happening during our last home game this season - exactly. What have we become. Never has the phrase "you're not fit to wear the shirt" been more apt.

Vestergaard was out injured last week and King's comments after the game didn't suggest he would just be missing for one game. Okoli is suspended for three games. We probably won't see much of Souttar at all this season. Choudhury, who has filled in at CB, is also now injured. Aluko was very impressive when he came on against Oxford but he's 19 years old and a full back—I'm not sure playing him alongside Nelson will appeal to King. Assuming Vestergaard doesn't make a surprise return, the only way Lascelles won't start is if he's also genuinely injured—'match fitness' won't come into it.

I think Okoli will only be out for 1 match. Isn't a 3 match ban reserved for violent conduct ?

  3. My 2d's worth:

Daka has square feet - it was has as already been said like playing with 10 men. Jake Evans has to start - he cannot be worse. I repeat he cannot be worse and most likely will be an improvement. He's young and keen - enough said for me

Thomas - didn't see why a lot were raving about his game against Derby. Will admit he is crossing the ball better but he cannot defend. Wrong side of the player all the time, not aerially good enough and so weak physically. Play Aluko - he has a future Thomas hasn't in my book, get rid.

Cifuentes subs etc were baffling and didn't help at all

Choudhury - not good enough. Sloppy on the ball and simply doesn't contribute. Would rather see Page or Braybrooke or anyone else. Please send him back to Sheff Utd where he can freely like all of Tom Cannon's posts without ridicule.

Though Stolly should have saved the first goal.

How we managed a point after the way the 2nd half went is a small miracle. We gave the ball away constantly, never seen such one way traffic for a whole half

Ayew - why take one touch when you can take 10 then fall over in the hope of a foul. Will NOT pass the ball unless a last resort.

Nelson - I think he is terrific and stands out in the back line - should be first on the team sheet when picking defenders who actually try to defend

Vestergaard - 6ft 6in but manages to jump to 6ft 7 ins if he gets a run on the ball. Should win every high ball, connects with the odd one

These "one good half" of football is killing us.

  4. Simple question - if he was/is any good why is it no-one wants to buy him ? I get the wages stuff but if you really want such a "good" player I'm sure a deal could be made. However the tumbleweed rolling down the corridors of the KP indicate he is what most of us think he is - a vastly over-rated, arrogant clown.

  5. I can only think that there are other reasons (behaviour, attitude ?) why Ben isn't making an appearance in the team. Rave reviews last year at Oxford, apart from Huddersfield has really impressed when making the odd appearance for LCFC. When you have calamity Faes/Vesty making error after error and Okoli apparently unable to spot his fellow team-mates when attempting to pass, there surely must be another reason not to play him ?

  6. It's just dire isn't it. I sing my heart out but am with a few exceptions the ground seems to be full of passive, quiet people. Not sure why they come other than a. they can afford it, b. they are interested in enjoying the atmosphere created by everyone else, c. they are "interested" in Leicester but not enough to raise their voices in support. As has been mentioned earlier the vast number of "supporters" criticising the protest and saying we should get behind the lads I would have thought it would be like San Lorenzo's ground yesterday but sadly......not

Just got a new provider for my FireStick software (renews/expires on NYD each each year). Absolutely brilliant interface for the price, extensive channel list, movies and series available. Can even watch each PL, EFL and Non-League game on-demand until the teams next game. £60 a year is half the price I was paying per month for Sky.

Can you tell us who you use, or at least a clue ? :)

  8. If the rumours that Top and co wanted Enzo because they wanted us to play like Man City you can only assume they will want a replacement with a similar approach.

Don't think Moyes would fit the bill, possibly Corberan but not sure who else (who would be willing to come here) ?

Wanted to relocate to the singing section (quite near anyway but wanted to be right in it). Told they aren't doing relocations to that area and spare seats there were being held for Members to try the atmosphere. Also asked if they were going to extend and he said very unlikely given the amount of abuse when they first created that section

That’s going to happen but you can’t let criticism stop you. If you asked the players what they wanted, people in the same seats or a better atmosphere? They’ll choose the obvious. That then means a lot of effort by the club, which is where the problem will be.

We had this at Doncaster when we reconfigured the stadium. I got called “that new c**t from Lestah” amongst other things, but there was a plan and a reasoning behind the changes to the stadium.

We had multiple focus groups, meetings with the fans and other clubs who had done the same, commercial partners, literally everyone, with the ultimate goal being a better atmosphere and people in the right parts of the ground. It took months, was brutal but it worked.

You can offer scores of solutions to the “we’ve always sat here” brigade if you want to… but we never will do unfortunately.

Agreed - change isn't always easy but if you just give up when you get some complaints you never change anything. So telling that Enzo and the players always make a beeline to that corner of the ground. The connection is there and there is an obvious desire from the players and Enzo to build on that and make things better. The problem is the club administration don't seem to get it and how the club would benefit from building out the section and creating a better atmosphere for the team.  Let's not upset some of the incumbents even though the bigger picture says its needed and there are people who want to join in and improve the atmosphere.

As per Semper above there is indeed a golden opportunity when the ground is enhanced - use that as the excuse or whatever but it seems increasingly likely that opportunity will be ignored.

Oh and where is the plan for safe standing - another opportunity to justify reconfiguration and change ?

  11. As per my post in another thread - I was informed by the club that they aren't allowing people to relocate to the singing section. I challenged this and Jim replied to say that there are only a few seats left and they are keeping them so Fox Members can sample the atmosphere there. I have pointed out that a. there should be communication to that effect as obviously there are a lot of frustrated people trying to relocate and b. this shows the demand so why not extend the section...

I emailed the help email address and have now had a reply saying they are not relocating anyone to the singing section this season !!

FYI - as an update after I queried the response  I had received, Jim has replied to say that they only have a few seats left and the club have decided to make them available to Fox Members to allow others to try the atmosphere.

  13. Just tried and again there is no opportunity to even join the queue. I guess this is further indication of the demand to be relocated to the Singing Section (would imagine most of the demand is driven by this).

Is the club paying attention to what the fans want ie an expanded section of fans that want to vocally support the team ??

  14. Will miss:

    No VAR

    Jobi McAnuff and David Prutton

Proper football clubs to play against with proper fans

Watching the pre-match knowing we will get some decent coverage not the token "oh yeah and Leicester are playing" in the PL

The steady flow of games every week

    Won't miss:

Jermaine Beckford/Don Goodman/Andy Hinchcliffe - absolute drivel from the lot and the last 2 seem particularly anti-Leicester

That female duo that covered the Millwall away game on commentary - a new low I think

Second Tier podcast - christ !

Sam Barrott (referee) - vs Ipswich Town (a) and Hull City (a) - if ever you wanted evidence to support your conspiracy theory here he is....

I presume they will cut to us pretty quickly once the celebration starts

Knowing Sky they will still have a lingering shot of Daniel Farke as he cries into his Hovis, which although enjoyable, will last far too long so we don't see what is happening at our place.
