He had the opportunity to speak freely and honestly about the club and owner but chose platitudes, “they’ll be back” bollox and absolute silence about the abject failures he saw unfolding with his own eyes. The GOAT drop the ball sadly.
There was probably an NDA in his contract preventing him from revealing too much information.
Becky Vardy seems less reluctant to throw the club under the bus.

Crap corner from Madueke, he's been shit since Arsenal signed him
Remember when we were in for him and thought he was class. Did the square root of **** all when PSV came our place.
Then he joined Chelsea and ever since I haven’t liked him.

Why’s vardys lad an Arsenal fan.
-
The club in its current state would never have him back.
Rudkin pushed him out and that eventually lead to the first relegation.
Schmeichel would bring accountability to the football club, and we all know the board wouldn’t like that.

“Vardy should’ve gone to a big club”… nah he shouldn’t have mate.
With all due respect to Mahrez (he’s our best ever player imo), Vardy will mean more to us than Mahrez will ever mean to Man City.
In 25 years, young Man City fans won’t have a clue who Mahrez is. Whereas, for decades to come, every young kid growing up in Leicestershire will know who Vards is.

Never knew he got kicked out of Leadmill in Sheffield and put on a banning order for sticking up for his pal.

I walked past it yesterday and it is SHITE.
Reminds me of that famous god awful Cristiano Ronaldo 'sculpture'.
Tbf, the location they chose is alright to have a mural i guess. Near enough to the clock tower, right by Haymarket, so it'll be seen by everyone getting the bus into town..

I went tigers today. The amount of non-Leicester accents in the stands did my nut in.
Walked past the train station and everyone buggering off to all over the country.
I just don’t understand why people can’t support their local clubs, whether that be football, rugby, cricket or whatever.

I'm thinking leave on Winks until the 90th then sub him so that the fans can show exactly what we think of him.
The fans that are there will serenade him off with applause.

This is more like the Leicester I know! (Shit)

Was the banner readable by those in the ground or was the writing too small?
Great work anyway, and a stroke of luck that that Top was here to witness it. We’ll done and thanks to all involved 👍👍

Tell us more. Burnt, stolen, just not there? Heard the lads stayed in the pub..
I’m not there either but apparently according to my cousin “someone came and ripped off the signage”

What happened with the UFS banner in SK1?

**** me. What a weak statement. He can add his PR team on his list of people to face the sack.

Me and the lads I went with decided to go down to the very bottom at full time and gave all the players the middle finger.
Was an alright day tho imo, apart from the fact the stewards tried to refuse us entry at the start…

Eight seats are back up on the website if anyone is crazy enough to get them
I think there’s a bug with these seats. If you select one ticket, all 8 get added to your account.
One of my mates is looking for a ticket. He can collect from London or the ground. If anyone has one going, a PM would be greatly appreciated.

Soyuncu would have been our saviour.
Never wanted him out in the first place.
It was just Brendan being a nob, surprise surprise.

Wanted BEK to go at the start of the season because he was a mardy twat who clearly didn’t want to be here.
But with him in the team we wouldn’t be in the relegation zone, whether he wanted to be here or not.
-
He also tried to rugby tackle (and injure?!?!) Jordan James after he scored. Quite odd.

I was in The Clarendon earlier tonight and some Leicester-born Rangers fan comes up to me and puts it better than I could:
”wearing that sacred blue shirt of yours should be one of the greatest honours in a players career” he says.
And in all honesty, to me, that’s what it’s about. All I can ask from a player is that they fight for the badge and city that I love.
I don’t mind Daka, because he tries. He cares. He’ll fight and he’ll run. But for Ayew, it looks like he feels the shirt is weighing him down. And it really ain’t. Because he’s shit.

Tom Meighan playing in Putney this june… tickets are expensive but capacity is only 200 so should be good for any London based Kasabian fans.
