Agree it’s worth waiting till mid June as long as it’s the right man and coaching set up.

I quite fancy giving Lee Carsley a try done well with England youth maybe a good opportunity for him and for LCFC.

You can get us at 4/1 for the Boro match, next week.

It's probably wishful thinking but a bit of new manager bounce, them looking bad last night and as bad as we are, we can squeak the odd result.

    Anyone fancy losing £20?

He has 3 days to kick some arse and shore up our defence tall order I know but I will take a draw from this.

    Should it happen? Yes?

    Will it happen? No.

I'm still hopeful that one day we will see him in a director's role, whether that's DOF or Technical Director. But his health is more important, and I can imagine his blood pressure would spike every time he clocks Rudders in the corridor. I also would question quite how much appetite he'd have to yet again be tasked with taking a hatchet to our mess of a squad - I imagine it was bad enough having to do it the second time post-Sven when he was in good health, I wouldn't fancy the cortisol spikes of having to take the Matt Mills approach to the likes of Winks, Ayew, Vestergaard and whoever else when you've been through long covid and struggle to walk nowadays.

Plus there's the obvious elephant in the room - it was apparently Top that made the call to 'sack' him in early 2015 before Vichai rolled that back and the rest of the story unfolded. I don't believe he'd want to work with the current hierarchy regardless of how much say he'd have on the future trajectory of the club. Why would he want to help save face for someone who couldn't wait to get rid of him during the great escape season?

If the dream scenario ever unfolds and Top sells up, that's the point at which I think he hopefully comes back in that role. It would be the obvious way for any new owner to gain fans' trust. But in a similar way to how I don't want Kingy to get the manager role right now and have his legacy tarnished by what seems like a potential disaster waiting to happen, I don't want Top and Rudkin wheeling out Big Nige to distract the fanbase from what a mess they've made of LCFC both on the pitch and financially.

His time was 11/12 years ago everywhere he’s been since has ended with the sack leave his time with us in the history of LCFC and move forward not backward.

A foreign appointment would be a ****ing disaster as there is no one at the club with the football expertise to help them with anything. LCFC effectively have managers rather than head coaches.

So does the whole of the football leagues in the UK We employer managers not coaches .

Don’t disagree with any of what you have said but tbf Silko Thomas is also from the academy

There is only so many academy players we can field or put on the bench as we submitted a list of 25 to the league and barring injuries and suspensions we have to play them no matter how good or bad they are.

It shouldn't be allowed - haven't been at the games so can't really vouch for Leicester's empties or not but clubs like West Ham take the piss posting a 60k every game when it's just blatantly nowhere near.

Many of the empty seats are season ticket holders away on holiday or couldn’t be bothered to go but because those seats are already paid for they will be counted as occupied.

All gone very quiet on king powers own financial troubles. If it doesn’t improve, then a sell becomes more likely than not you’d imagine.

LCFC is not owned by King Power Solely owned by Top so not affected K P financial difficulty.

The fact everyone seems to have jumped on you suggests you then need to word your posts better.

You seem to be criticising the manager coaching staff as not being good enough to educate him in what to do on the pitch he’s 16 years of age for Christ sake.

You work with what brings you success but if the dynamics change you have to adapt accordingly.

This is what “Dumb and Dumber” upstairs don’t understand.

Remember when we lost our scouts Steve Walsh & Lee Congarton.

We were told don’t worry our recruitment won’t change our team is still good.

    Oh Really ??

So where did all the S***e players come from then.

Poor judgement and poor planning leads to panic buying, do that season after season and eventually you’ll be left with a squad in decline.

And you wonder why King Power itself is in financial trouble, again they don’t adapt to market trend and peoples habits.

Walsh went to Everton and was sacked after 15 months fans thought his recruitments was shite what works for one club doesn’t always work for another.

Good point, well made. We really are pathetic as a club aren't we! I just find it all so incredulous.

This football transfer stuff really isn't that difficult. Its not real business. It's really not that hard. Those involved should try working in a real industry with real pressures.

Billionaires buying Millionaires for bit of fun.

Making a right pigs ear of it.

The problem in this country is football clubs hire managers who want their preferred choices brought into the club on the continent they employ first team coaches and the Director of football decides who they want to bring in and coaches coach much better idea if you think about it.

We should be going all out to get Josh Brownhill, but we won't. We should also have gone for Josh Windass, but we didn't. Two players who would have greatly enhanced the squad and available for free. We need to get players out, but with almost five weeks of the transfer window remaining, I don't see anyone leaving anytime soon.

They are not totally free signing on fee agents fee and all we do is add to an already bloated squad  with extra wages,we have far more players than the squad of 25 can accommodate.

Just saw a link to Josh sergeant because he is with Wasserman. Sure we can’t pay 600k for Rohl but we’ll spend 15m on a striker lol

same article suggested Oxlade-Chamberlein was close

We’ve paid £400000release clause for Cifuentes so the Rohl story about not paying his release clause must be untrue?

Rohl was/is far and away my first choice, Cifuentes would have been my second choice mainly because he potentially has a higher ceiling than the plodders like Dyche, Wilder and O'Neill.

I'd like to know the reasons why we didn't get Rohl. If it was for financial reasons it stinks that we're too tight on budget to bring in the No1 choice in such a crucial role for a club that thought £20m on Winks a year ago was decent business to improve a CM that already had Winks, Ndidi, Soumare and Choudhury to pick from.

Something doesn’t add up we are prepared to pay a release clause for Cifuentes but not for Rohl confusing?

And signing players like Ayew, Bobby and Edouard.

Because Cooperman wanted Premier experience we have Managers at LCFC not Team Coaches so like the past the club tend to support managers with their choices and it’s been like that as long as I can remember the rest of the Premiership is much the same only on the continent do they have team coaches,Every club when a manager is sacked has a surplus of players that haven’t made the grade but the wages bill continues to grow.

Not a solution at all, just a mooted idea that if we cant pay him off, have him doing something else but you continue to get irate over it, I'll just sit back and laugh at you :P

    GET THIS DUDE IN

    Someone email Top and Susan

Until the manager situation is resolved one way or the other can’t see anyone coming into the club a fresh head would want improvements preferably suggested by himself not the club telling him who he’s going to get?Secondly he may want to keep players we would prefer to leave the club until we know one way or the other we’re stuck with what we’ve got.

RVN will leave the club when we are officially recognised as a Championship club and our Premiership shares are handed over to one of the promoted teams.

Anyone expecting an imminent announcement will be disappointed. Remember after the last relegation it took 2 weeks to get rid of Dean Smith. It was 16th June by the time they announced his departure.

They've learnt nothing. They plan nothing. They're not even self aware enough to realise how utterly disorganised this sh--show all looks.
