Hi all it does not matter what manager you have it could be Doris the Tea Lady or Pep, IF you dont have the right players for the right manager it does not work.
A lot of Managers could be succesful IF they are 1) given time, 2) those above them get the players that he manager wants.
You Do Not need top players you need a team and a big slice of luck where everything aligns ala LCFC 2016 not the best players but my God the best team ever.
If a manager whats a fit team get hard working players like Bournmouth if they want skill and ball retention like Maresca get the like of Winks.
Its not an easy fix, its not a devine right it takes time.
Leicester have had great long term managers who got success in the end, Frank Ofarrel, the brilliant Jimmy Bloomfield, Martin Oneil, the iconic best ever Nigel Pearson. Yes I hafe not said Claudio necsuse he was short term.
Bottom line is Give the New Manager a chance he is only as goid as the plsyers he inherits

Ins and outs 2026, well due to the total mismangement at this club, totally crap mens and womens teams both relegated. The only outs I know of is those who were working behind the scenes, not management support staff, so many have now lost there jobs due to total crap at the top. Shame on you LCFC

Whoever we get as manager every LCFC fan needs to now grow up and get behind the manager and the team. We need to 100% lose this apathy and negativity that is killing our club. Fans critisizing fellow fans, STOP, direct your anger to the away team stop the self destruction.
The club is on its knees and needs help so everyone stop the negativity, the hatred and be one. We have done this before and we can do it again so for 2026/27 lets have a United LCFC, no critisism of fellow LCFC fans, 100% suupport to players who are likely to be young and support not hinderance to the Manager whoever it is
2025/2026 proved that having a toxic atmosphere changed nothing. All this did was add pressure.
Come on LCFC WE can do this

Battle of former champions. Just a sad day for both sets of fans reminising on where we once were. This one is deffo going to be one of those typical sods law moments. City win 4-0, keep a clean sheet. Daka hat trick. No one celebrates, we just go home chuntering "why couldnt we play like that before"

Thank you for your unrelenting support. We have now acheived our aim of being the biggest club in the league.

Rowett is a good manager, but it takes time to change which we simply dont have.Performances have improved, more chances are being created which means less play near our goal.
Unfortunately Rowett is getting no breaks, forwards cant hit a barn door and stupid mistakes on pitch.
Four games Gary, time for another Leicester City miracle, no pressure but you are our only hope.

We all ended up as City fans for a variety of reasons and not just birthright. I am Northants a bordering county and choose Leicester simply because I loved their scarf that was on sale when I went to an England schoolboys international at the proper Wembley in early 1970s. My first season ticket in the double decker at Filbert Street, we got relegated. I biggest thing I remember about that and other relegations was despite it being sad it was exciting and the club and supporters fought all the way. Not like now where we have this pathetic resignation and a massive air of apathy from the club.
Am I ashamed, no, because other teams genuine fans understand and respect your loyalty.
Am I angry, yes 100%
Am I sad, yes incredibly
The rise and fall and fall of LCFC

How can a team have near on 60 shots in 3 games but never look like scoring. Actually 59 of those shots were probably Fatawu and his usual hit and hope crsp
-
Sounds ridiculous but I think West Brom and above are now safe and its between 3 clubs, City, Portsmouth and Oxford
Final points
Oxford 44
City 45
Portsmouth 45
City stay up on goal difference only.

Swansea have nothing to play for so I suppose if they don't turn up we might sneak another drawer.
Great another empty drawer for our trophy cabinet. Room for our Div 1 winners medals.

Kasey McAteer scored for us yesterday and was MOTM. Great performance. That £12 million you managed to get off us is starting to look like a bargain
Good luck to you, same feeling when watching James Justin at Leeds and Harvey Barnes at Newcastle, they look happy now😞

Like all the present dross Mavadidi is not at his best but the LHS combination of Thomas and Mavididi is far more promising than the RHS of the now finished Ricardo and one hit wonder Fatawu who never defends and like today actualy delivers nowt. Get Fatawu on the bench and use him as an impact Sub.
Just imagine being a winger at LCFC you beat your man look up and what do you see a goal hungry centre forward waiting to attack your pass, you know where he wants the pass, you know he will bury it..........NO! ..........in reality all you see is Patson Daka an excitable puppy more interested in catching his own tale or Jodan Ayew looking for defenders to mark him.
Be fair guys, Stephi is not the problem, Monga is not yet the answer we need a proper striker.
Ps pains me to say but Ayew did look the part today
I await your condemnation.

Whats likeable about us right now is going to my clothes drawer and only seeing a couple of Leicester embroudered shirts left. The knowledge that they are on their last legs is pleasing. Not bought an LCFC item in over two years and very soon I will be able to open that drawer and not feel immediately depressed.
Ps, cant burn them or throw them away as it against die hard fan policy.

Would be interested to know your definition of a yo-yo club.Leicester have been up and down between the 1st and 2nd tier’s more than any other side. Not including the countless relegation survival campaigns and promotion near misses.Being the best example of a yo-yo club is nothing to be ashamed of imho
Well said, and I must point out that in my initial post I was not criticising us for being a yo yo club, it is a clear fact. Heathrow Fox is factually correct. Over the years being a city fan it has been more exciting than not, we are never boring mediocrity, we are either fighting promotion or relegation never just boooring mid table. We are not a massive club so like every other team bar money teams Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea we will all always stuggle with ups and downs.

I would understand your stance more, if we were currently at threat of relegation from the premier league to the championship. But we are not, we are at real threat of relegation to league one, for only the 2nd ever time in our history, we have received the first ever points deduction in our history for gross financial incompetence, this deduction is likely to be the final nail in our relegation coffin.
Also as being widely discussed by a lot of football finance pundits and experts, if we do go down into league one there is the very real possibility we end up in financial meltdown and potential administration, for only the 2nd time in our history, which could lead to liquidation and no Leicester City Football Club.
Yes in there time at the club KP have overseen some amazing highs, they were well praised, celebrated and lauded at the time, however we now sit on the precipice of arguably our lowest ever point, on a continual downward trajectory and the self preservation society making board changes to not only protect themselves but to give them even more power, influence and control.
Terry Shipman was hounded out of the club for far less, at what stage does your opinion change, when does this free pass to destroy the club expire?
Ranieri was sacked less than 12 months after leading us to the greatest ever achievement, Rodgers left less than 2 years after the FA Cup Final win, so why does Aiyawatt and Rudkin get given infinitely longer when they already have 2 relegations under their belt and are on the verge of making it 3 in the last 4 seasons.
I am sorry but enough is enough my love for this football club will always far outweigh blind loyalty to any individuals who’s effectiveness and ability to affect positive change has long gone past its sell by date.
Point taken.

Who is living in 2016? I would say those hero worshipping KP over the future of the club.
And this is nothing like before. This is not about being. yoyo club between the top and second tier any more. If we even have a club in the next couple of years, the second tier will be something we can only dream about.
We are heading towards lows this club has never seen. Why are so many people blind to it?
I am not blind, and have never said I hero worship KP but I know they have helded in given us more good times than bad. We should not accept relegation but we will bounce back.

Let's be honest he was a good player for us but he's a dreadful pundit and commentator. He's a fat idiot who you'd avoid in the pub because he always talks bollocks. In the pocket of KP so he's never gonna say different I suppose.
Ha ha, sorry to interject here but on my way to the ground I implored my daughter to watch Leicester on EFL championship channel. I told her that she has to watch it as it is the most drab and uninspiring channel ever. You get chat between Taggart snd Elliott (love them but come on) they just dither and say nothing, then you get Ewan Roberts and Paul Koncheski who look at Taggart and Elliott and must think Christ how did I get here. Boooooring

I am a life long Leicester supporter I have been supporting them for 44 years. Those 44 years have seen more lows than the amazing highs.
KP out is not going to fix this mess, if anything they are the only ones who can support and fix it. Who are you expecting to come in "Trump" get real and grow up.
We have been allowed fantastic times under KP and those of of us in the Winter of our years remember previous seasons of Leicester going up and down like a yoyo.
Spurs narrow minded fans got Levy out and look at them now.
My words here are not going to stop protests. They are not going to inspire a very weak team, but this is just a moment in time, we will always be a medium team that has more bad times than good.
Leicester are and will always be a YoYo club we will always be on the fringes so stop living in 2016 and accept who we are.
I remember the fantastic day at Southend Utd. Matty Fryat penalty sending us back to the championship.
We are a Phoenix from the flames.
Please be kind in your hatred back to me and remember I am a life long City fan

I took one of my daughters today, she has been posted abroad for over a year, she said "wheres side show Bob "Wout Faes" I said we sold him, she said good.
She said "wheres James Justin" I said we sold him as he was not good enought to get in this team, "where is he now" she replied. I said "hes at Leeds getting rave reviews, good luck to him" I reasured her and said its ok though we have a good upcoming lad, Ben Nelson he young but a goid prospect. Thanks Ben made me look the chump that I am supporting this lot.

Not saying it would have been any different but at least try 2 up front.
You’ve got to try something different.Problem is which two, we could play 4 x 4 x 10 and still be crap

I admit I am watching on Sky, just watched pundits absolutely shaming our defenders, Norwich 14 injuries. Poor Mark Albrighton that must have been embarrasing to be there representing our shocking players.

For me worst in 44 years, dreadful. Our Div 1 team would beat this shower. Heartbreaking.

League One - Who manages us?
in Leicester City Forum
Posted
I hear that Pep Gladallover is looking for a new job. Would be great to see him in League One managing this shit show. Come on Pep face a real football challenge, not managing in Div 1 but resurection a crumbling dynasty that was once the LCFC empire.
