Billy Kee is top scorer by a distance and that despite missing quite a spell through injury. By my reckoning he's scored 20 goals from the season's matches so far with Elliot Chamberlain and Yussef having roughly half as many - 11 and 9 respectively if my adding up is correct. Schlupp has 7 and Burns 6 with various other players contributing as well.

I'm sure Knowitall seemed to think Kee would go out on loan next season and that would seem logical although it would need to be the right loan. There is no doubt Kee needs to be as fit and sharp as possible to make the best of himself. He's not the tallest or most athletic striker I've ever seen but he does have an eye for goal, a fierce shot, he sees the pictures and he is one tough cookie. The question is will he prove durable enough to be a League footballer? And will his single-minded appetite for goals be enough to counter his lack of height and pace? I honestly don't know the answers but a loan spell might well provide some. From what I've seen he's probably not ready for Championship football yet but it is a couple of months since I watched him to be fair, so he might have improved some. I certainly rate the guy. He's such a positive player. I just don't know whether he'll be sharp enough at championship level.
