A Podcast Experiment

As someone who has been reading this board for years (although admittedly I didn’t sign up to post here until this time last year) I’m aware of the strong feelings that people have about the BBC Radio Leicester football forum and post-match phone ins. It’s one of the reasons The Foxblogger Podcast exists, to create an a space where City fans can voice their opinions on the game in more depth than would be possible during the phone-in.

So for the Leeds match I’m dedicating the whole show to people who leave a message on my voicemail after the match. You can listen to some people who have already done it in the Doncaster Rovers and Ipswich Town episodes. You can take about any aspect of the game you like, or even focus on who you think we should be signing during the transfer window. If you want to talk about other aspects of life as a Leicester fan then this is your opportunity too. It would be great to hear from some of the Fosse Boys, for example. But really, anything you want to say about the game or the club is fair game (though it would be useful if people refrain from using explicit language).

Whatever it is you want to say, just call 020 8144 3333 after the game and leave your message. Calls cost the standard national rate. Don’t worry about making a mistake - I’ll be clipping the best bits from all the calls together – all you need to do is start your message by saying who you are. I’ll edit the podcast together late on Boxing Day (probably sometime after 10 p.m.), so if you can’t make a call straight after the game that’s not a problem either.

Basically, if you’ve ever wanted to get your voice on air but for whatever reason decided against it, tomorrow is an opportunity I hope you’ll take. More than anything else, I want to prove that there is a market for intelligent football debate amongst City fans and I hope you guys can prove me right.

Many thanks.

Still time to get your calls in.

How can Sven get City performing in the first half?

Should Schmeichel have gone?

Are City where they need to be for a promotion push in the 2nd half of the season?

020 8144 3333 - it's the same cost as calling a UK landline.

The line is open until 10 p.m.
