Pointless in every sense of the word.

Imagine this being your job and the team you’re working for manages to score 1 goal every 40 corners. Embarrassing. Not to mention how weak we are defensively for them.

Can F off as well, genuinely somehow made us worse. 1 win in 7 under him?
Haven’t checked but that’s actually somehow an improvement on Marti

Absolutely diabolical decision to not make subs until the 65th minute. Complete waste of a first half where we were creating nothing and anyone could see we needed to change it up against a back 3

Why are we just going through the motions. No one looks arsed.

We can't defend which costs us week in week out. We were playing a side who are ****ing rubbish and we're lucky to get a point.
Agree with your first point. The difference is generally we haven’t been creating enough chances to offset the amount we give away. Today we did.
You think we were lucky to get a point, I think we were unlucky not to come away with all 3. Is what it is.

You don't deserve to win a game of football if you give away two crap goals.
Oh bore off. They gave us two goals aswell. Doesn’t take away from the fact we created enough chances ourselves to win the game outright

No we absolutely did not.
Yeah we did.

You just know how this final 30 is going to go. We’ll fail to blow up a head of steam and Preston will just take the sting out of it with constant delays. We’ll add to it with a bunch of ineffective subs too.
-
Fans have got to play a part but my god, why are we starting so slowly.

Good spell since that break - Daka looking lively (if classicly erratic)

Are we competing?
The point was we’d spent in the same ball park as the relegated sides.
Not sure if this includes fees paid for loan players but I’d assume that if we’re in for the same players as the likes of Southampton and Ipswich and they’re willing to pay those sorts of fees, then our only option is to pay them or shop elsewhere.
Im not justifying it.
-
How have we spent that much without signing anyone?!
That aside, Ipswich, Southampton and us are the three biggest spenders. All relegated sides. Ultimately, if everyone else is throwing money around to agents and that’s the only way to compete, what are you going to do?

I still think he will go on to have a good career but he needs to eliminate the mistakes. Even against Bristol City he gave away a needless pen.
He needs to be rotated in and out. It’s too much pressure for him to be the regular lead CB. Lascelles in next week and let Nelson alternate with him.

Every result going against us today and only ourselves to blame having been 1 up.

How do we look like the team trying to run the clock down

Looks great at times. Looks awful at others.

Seems to me we are very good at spotting telent at a young age and have the facilities and know how to bring it through.
We're great at nurturing that physical talent.... but there's something massively lacking with the mental/personality side in my opinion.
Can't remember the last big resilient character who's been a leader that has come through?
Monga and Evans seem very quiet and reserved - I'd love to see some personally and confidence coming through.
I wonder if this is to do with a lack of role models bringing them through and letting them express themselves maybe?
Seems to be a theme with alot of our youth really...
Heskey - possibly one of the most shy youngsters ever.
Monga - seemed to express himself with his ability but now that's been coached out of him there's not much to connect with.
Evans - didn't seem to grab his chance at the start of the season seemed to let things wash over him.
Barnes - Rodgers called him out for being a bit mentally weak.
Chilwell - Wouldn't take a throw in at Millwall!
Nelson - Hope he can be potential leader in the future but seems very quiet and introverted at the moment.
Thomas - No comment.
Think we need some work on the mental side. Top clubs have world-class players that probably understand this automatically but with our cretins promoting youth must be a nightmare in that toxic climate.
I’d argue that the younger generation are just more reserved / introverted generally. Not just a Leicester thing.

I don’t think that is actually the problem - he’s got the pace over 5 yards to go past defenders both ways. The problem is his decision making - he bloody loves a shot (and sometimes it pays off) but other times he needs to be cuter with it and pick a different option.
He’ll go to one of the teams going up this year. His take-on stats are outrageous and he’s got a decent G/A return in a crap side.
