clearly the plan in this appointment is consistency, taking us back to the premier in two season, this is definately the last last last last chance salon if this fails, the King Power era will come to end either selling the club or collapse.
-
Getting the win today will probably secure the job for the start of next season?????

Can we start a new thread " What was your greatest Jordan Ayew moment at Leicester ?"
-
well done to Ipswich for getting automatic promotion, fully deserved and show what a full embarrassment we have been this season and those saying with out a six point deduction we would have been ok. is just a complete joke.
The way I looked at it at the start of the season that we had a good enough squad to be able get a point deduction and still be in a play off position. I expected us to get a manager from a playoff side the season before, but the seed of doubt planted when we appointed Marti, completely the wrong choice, I thought as much at the time and sadly was proved right.

the only explanation i can think for this squad is that he been told to start with all the players they want to sell. In the real world ud start with the younger players you want to keep next season
-
if the board has any brains at all, they need to be offloading every player that is on over 50k a week, ideally clear out all the dead wood ,then you analysis the stats of all the top players in league one this season of the sides not promoted to the championship and build a team with a core of player that have a proven record this season in league one and add acedemy player plus young premier loanees, so you going to team that can compete at this level for a fraction of the cost of our current. Take as an example Dom Ballard he get about £7500 a week only 21 so has potential for the future, scored over 20 goals in 38 games this season, you wont get Daka getting that amount of goals at 75k a week.

we basically need a no nonsense wont take any crap direct style football manager maybe someone Scottish in the Jock Wallace style. ideal oppounitity to play the likes of Monga where on low wages giving them a chance to shine (sell him would be pointless we wont get much at this stage and he wouldnt get much opoortunity to play yet at highrr level , unless we can do a sell but loan back for a season, also i think we coud get young quality premier loanee who will do well at league one level, be plenty of premier happy to farm out players to us and would see league and club set up as ideal learning curve for them.
For me the biggest factor will be the manager we get and the difference between moving forward postively or more of the same , the mindset of squad has to be reset we have had two seasons of basically playing same way with the same mindset and results.

might as well go tonight if we lose King in charge for the rest of season be completely pointless him staying.
-
shame he didnt show the same level of passion on the pitch

The quality of football this season is worse than last year. Most of our better players are loanees who will leave at the end of the season, and any decent permanent players are likely to be sold. A few will run out of contract at the end of the season, leaving a mix of inexperienced youngsters and apathetic hasbeen journey men who show little desire to play at this level. Any manager we appoint will struggle to motivate that group; after around ten games of mediocre results they’ll likely go through the motions and fall back on the same tired clichés each week.
Across the league we’ll be the side every opponent treats like a cup match—former premier champions with nothing to lose—so every fixture will be a chance for other teams to enjoy a moment of glory. All in all, I wouldn’t be surprised to see us near the bottom of the table next season.
I once thought relegation might be a great reset; now it feels like it will only be another sad chapter in our ongoing decline.

just looked like a side that couldnt be bothered.

I honestly believe i would do a better job than Rowlett his pre match conference he almost admits defeat and selection reflects that too Id play solid experienced three at back add souttar drop ricardo and thomas and add Skip and Mukasa drop Choudhury start Monga tell the kid to show me what he can do to play without fear.
-
ive supported the club for over 50 years every week now i get less bothered about this club, its has a squad of players that dont care and run by people that dont have a clue, until both are gone, nothing will change, we are basically a sinking ship, but the band continues to play as nothing is wrong

for all our efforts today i still thought we were terrible id be more than happy if we started next season with 11 new players names on the team sheet I had enough of this squad we have to rate as the worst side in the championship if we go down you cant say we didn't deserve it. There is no enjoying in watching Leicester city football club anymore and you know nothing will change anytime soon

its embarrrasing that he gets 75k a week, based on his quality he should be on minumium wage. can you imagine if you turned up to work every day, just sat there, did nothing and left at home time !!!!

sums up the quality of our strikers both had penalties now, both missed and would let neither take before both kicks, you just know what the end result would be :(

I'm struggling to see what he's achieved since joining Newport just under 4 months ago. Anyway, I wouldn't want him to tarnish his fine reputation by coming into this sh!tshow.
given he's got no resources and the club on the verge of collapse, hes now taken them out of the relagation zone so id say he's doing pretty well.

The only exciting moment of the match with Ayew is when you see he been subbed off, but that excitement is only short lived when you realise he's been replaced by Daka
-
we have no strikers so limited what you can do there, have no decent defenders either so take your pick and midfield just pick names out of a hat, so the answer does it really matter still going to end up with the same result usually
-
if we go down surely Fuch would be ideal manager for a rebuild of the squad given what he achieved at Newport with no money, but if we were to stay up would the Championship be a step too far for him. In a way relegation might be a better option and new owners too
-
I don't know why we bother playing strikers we have, Ayew is terrible we might as well play an extra midfielder.
-
I'm totally gutted we didn't manage to concede a goal

-
I think he would get more respect by selling the club asap that way we can at least remember him for his part of winning the premier league and fa cup.
The longer he stays the more damaged the club gets and it's does us no favours running the club into the ground, hopefully somehow we can find a way to stay up to make it more attractive to buy only been one league off the premier instead of two!

Pearson is the yard stick we have to compare him too, for him to be credible long term, we have to win the league one by a big margin, but for some reason I dont think we will, his record includes lots of goal conceeded as does our for the last two seasons that plus his style of play aint going to work in league one, we will be there to shot down.
i feel like for the last three seasons ive been a constant doom merchant hopefully this time im wrong 😊
